"Mione?" Draco knocked on the door of the master bedroom, careful not to wake his daughter who was napping in the next room.

"Yes?" he heard her reply softly, cracking the door.

"I'm going to take the boys to get their dress robes for tomorrow night."

He heard his wife sigh in exhaustion.
"We're still going to that?" she slipped out of the room and closed the door quietly.

"Who would have guessed? Hermione Granger, trying to get out of going to school," he mocked, chuckling as she punched his arm lightly.

"It's just that...after everything that happened and seeing Harry and Ron..." she trailed off, a guilty grimace on her face.

He kissed her forehead, drawing her in closer to his chest. Her coffee-brown eyes sparkled in the dim fairy lights strung in the hall.

"They will be happy to see you 'Mione," the Slytherin assured her.

"You're right, I know you're right. Be back by dinner please," Draco could tell she was trying to change the subject, but he didn't mind. He knew how hard it was for her to leave her best friends all those years ago, but he also knew how badly she had needed to find her parents in Australia.

Draco crossed his heart goofily, making her giggle and reward him with a small peck on the cheek.

"Gin?" The raven-haired man called as he heard his wife enter their kitchen.

"It's me! I went to the shop," she bounded into the living room, her ginger hair bouncing in a messy bun. She pecked the boy-who-lived on the cheek and collapsed into one of the plush sofas in the Potter's living room, dropping a child-sized dress onto the coffee table next to her.

"That hard, huh?" her husband teased and she swatted him playfully, a smile on her lips.

"That child will not make up her mind! She gets that from you!" she joked, referring to the couple's six year-old daughter Lily.

As if on cue, Lily came twirling in with her new shoes on, infuriating her already annoyed mother.

"Lily Luna Potter! I told you those shoes are for tomorrow night only!" She exhaled deeply, pulling the girl onto her lap. "What am I going to do with you?"

Harry chuckled slightly as Lily jumped off of her mother's lap and ran into her room rebelliously.

Ginny's eyes filled with panic as she checked the time.
"Merlin, I forgot Ron and Elizabeth are coming over tonight!"

"Aren't we seeing them tomorrow night anyway?" the man asked, watching his wife run to the kitchen frantically.

"They're our best friends Harry! Besides, Liz told us they're going to just meet us there instead of all going together like we originally planned," she said as she began to magically defrost the newly bought chicken.

"I wonder who's going to be there," Harry started, stepping in to help Ginny with the cooking.

"Everyone, I suppose. Do you think she is going to be there?" she asked, her frenzy suddenly disappearing into her question.

Harry needed no further information, they both knew who she meant. Receiving no response from her husband, Ginny Potter continued.

"I hope she will. It's been 20 years," she spoke quietly.

"22," the Chosen One replied solemnly. The couple missed Hermione dearly and after close to no contact, they assumed she had moved on in life.

"Anyhow," Ginny said, changing the subject abruptly. "Can you take the boys to Diagon Alley for their dress robes?"

"Of course, love," He replied, giving her one last kiss. They broke off and Ginny grinned before returning to her cooking.

"Oh and Harry?" she called.

"Yeah?"

"Be back around 6 so you don't miss the company."

He chuckled at his wife and ran upstairs to fetch the boys for their Diagon Alley shopping trip.
