When Taeyong next awoke he could see there was light behind the deep blue drapes and he realised he wasn't in bed alone.
He turned to gaze, strangely unafraid, at the man who shared his bed. Then Taeyong found himself staring into his eyes.
"You called for me in your sleep or else I would have thought you well enough to sleep alone now."
The voice was gentle, soft, but with an authoritative ring of confidence.
"Jaehyun," Taeyong said, pleased his voice seemed a little stronger.
A warm feeling flooded his body as the big blond smiled, showed his sweet dimple.
"Yes," he confirmed.
His hand reached to caress Taeyong's brow and Taeyong closed his eyes, leaning into the touch.
Taeyong felt the hand withdraw and gazed at the man who had slipped from the bed. His eyes roamed over the handsome face, white skin, muscular physique of Jaehyun.
"I'll arrange some breakfast for you," Jaehyun said and strode from the room.
Taeyong's eyes saddened as he watched the man leave.
He couldn't understand his reaction. He didn't want to share his bed with another man, did he? It was wrong.
Confused as well as saddened, Taeyong slid deeper beneath the covers.
Ten entered with a tray and a smile, but at the small sad form huddled alone in the huge bed, the bright smile turned melancholy.
He wished Jaehyun had brought the tray but his irritation at the man's behaviour had to be pushed aside in favour of caring for the man with big smile before him.
Ten placed the tray on the bedside locker and sat, gently caressing his hair.
Taeyong hummed quietly.
"Dont be sad. None of us would seek to hurt you, we love you~"
"You can't love me," Taeyong said, his voice dull. "You're a man."
"So?"
"That's wrong."
"It's never wrong to love!" said Ten. "Hatred is wrong, bigotry and cruelty are wrong, intolerance is wrong." He made sure Taeyong was looking at him. "Do you think I am wrong to love Johnny?"
"...No," Taeyong said slowly. He was still surprised that that didn't seem wrong to him.
"Neither is it wrong for me to love you. Nor you to love me... or Jaehyun," Ten's eyes were fixed on Taeyong trying to gauge his reaction. "You do feel something for him. Don't you?"
"Yes." Taeyong whispered, "But I don't know what it is." Taeyong's voice was that of a frightened child.
"Do not be afraid to love, Taeyong," he said. "Okay, forget it! Now I want you to eat," he added cheerfully.
"Will Jaehyun come and visit me again?" Taeyong asked in a tiny voice.
"Would you like him to?" Ten asked. At the small nod, he smiled. "Then I shall make sure that he does, but only if you finish your breakfast. Deal?"
"Deal," Taeyong gave a hesitant smile.
