werewolf pt 2

"H-hi there", I said kind of quietly. "Hi", the traveler replied cautiously. "Umm I'm (Y/n) and I am sorry about that, I didn't mean to cause any trouble." He shook his head and smiled, "no you didn't cause trouble. And the name is Link by the way." I nodded, "It's nice to meet you." Link's smile faded when he looked at my right ear that was bleeding. "Oh I have bandages just hold on a second." Before I could say anything Link whistled and his horse came running over. "This is Epona", he said petting the horse. He reached into a bag that she was carrying and pulled out some bandages. He rolled them up into a little ball and handed them to me. "Sorry I don't have a rag you can use, so just push this on your ear." I nodded and did as told. He then sat down on a rock that was beside him and he looked up at me with question on his face. "(Y/n) if you don't mind me asking what are you, and why were you with those wolves? Of course you don't have to tell me if you don't want to." I shook my head and smiled slightly, "no I don't mind explaining. So first off I am a werewolf and I can shapeshift from human to wolf anytime I please."

I paused for a moment to think about whether or not I should tell Link why I was staying with that group of wolves. I took a deep breath in and proceeded to explain. "When I was little my mother and father who were both werewolves and they raised me in the woods. So I grew up as more of a wolf than I did human. But 2 months ago a group of monsters came into the woods and killed my mother and father but I escaped. I traveled as a lone wolf for a few weeks until I found that group of wolves. They excepted me only because I was a girl and they planned to make their pack bigger. But I was gonna run away before that happened. But then we found you and I couldn't let them hurt someone who didn't deserve it. Plus If they attacked you probably would have killed them." I let out a chuckle to hide the fact that I was sad from remembering about my parents.

But It didn't work because Link stood up and put a hand on my shoulder. He gave me a soft smile before speaking. "I'm sorry about what you had to go through. At least its over now." I nodded my head and pulled the bundle of bandages away from my ear. It had stopped bleeding and the bandages soaked up most of the blood. I looked up at Link and smiled, "thank you for all your help Link but I don't want to trouble you anymore. So I'll let you be on your way and I do hope we see each other again." With that being said I turned around to leave but stopped when I felt something grab my wrist. I turned around and Link had slight pink on his cheeks as he looked me straight in the eyes. "Where will you be heading off to?" I shrugged, "no where in particular. I'll just walk around and go to random places."

Link looked away before asking rather shyly, "would you like to travel with me?" I looked at him shocked and he turned back to face me. I thought for a moment. Well it beats traveling alone, and it could be fun. Oh what the heck I have nothing to lose. I smiled at Link and replied, "sure I'd love to travel with you." Link let go of my wrist and smiled, "great its going to be awesome traveling with you." I smiled, "yeah it will be pretty awesome."
