"Why does this happen to me?" I screamed over the phone to my best friend.
"What happened this time Rachel?"
"James happened!" I wanted to break something!
"You still haven't gotten over that jerk who cheated on you?"
I could hear her eating her cereal and the T.V in the background. It seems crazy that someone could be so calm right now. I took a very deep breath.
"Chloe."
"Rachel, just tell me."
"I'm pregnant."
I heard her bowl drop and shatter, the whimpering of her dog. Then-dead silence.
