Dan X Phil part3

Once they arrived at the hospital Dan was rush into a room and Phil followed behind. Nervously Phil sat beside Dan.
"Is he ok, what's going on"?
"We don't know yet just stay com and the doctor with be here shortly".
"Yes".
Phil started to text Dan's parents, but was interrupted by the doctor.
"So, can you tell me what happened"?
"Of course, so I when now to go shopping and apparently he got lonely so he got super drunk and stopped breathing".
Phil started tearing up.
"Sorry".
"No your fine, I just want to inform you that he with have to stay here, because he is in a coma".
"Y...yes".
Phil put his head on the bed, held Dan's hand while crying.
"I'll never leave you alone again I promise".
Even though he had to stay there for six months Phil stayed by his side and didn't leave until he had to go to sleep.
Dan's parents visited him every day as well but they could only stay for an hour a day. Phil made sure to take pictures, videos and write about what happened every day to show Dan how sad and lonely he was. Once the six months were up they decided to let him go.
"Please don't do this"!
"Sorry sir but we need more space for other patience".
"No his important to me please I need him"!
"Move a side sir".
"P...pl...please don't do this to me".
They reach over to unplug Dan's life support, but all of the sudden Dan grabs Phil's hand.
"Dan can you hear me".
"Hmm...why are you all so loud and what happened to me".
"You drank yourself into a coma".
"Oh...sorry I umm".
"No it's fine just don't ever scare me like that again".
"Yes yes".
Before they let Dan out of the hospital they made sure he was stable enough and that he wouldn't do that again.
After letting him out Phil treated him to dinner to makeup for leaving him alone and not knowing what would happen.
