I lay in bed that night, imagining the life that me and Frost could have had together. I thought of all the times we had stayed up late talking. Our date at the coffee shop. I thought of the other dates we could have gone on together, other adventures and places we could have traveled. Tears stream down my face.

The house was silent. J and the others had gone out trying to seek revenge on Frost's murder. I was left alone with my thoughts and it was driving me mad. I pull open my nightstand draw, taking out my iPod. I plug the earphones into my ears, turning the volume up full blast in attempt to drown out the thoughts in my head. This was a bad idea. I could not here my thoughts, the sound of breaking glass, the footsteps running up the stairs, nor the sound of my bedroom door opening. Before I knew if two men where wrestling me, they tied my wrists and legs, keeping me still. They then lifted me up, carrying me down stairs and out into the night air before throwing me into the back of a van.

The van starts to move causing me to roll with every sharp turn. We soon come to a stop and the doors fly open. The men pick me up and carry me into an abandoned warehouse. Inside there is a rusty metal cage, they untie me and push me in before locking it up and walking away. I stand in the cage, alone in the dark. What is going on?

Suddenly lights turn on. A masked man walks in placing a laptop onto the table just outside of the cadge. He then sets up a camera to face me. He turns on the equipment before logging on to....video chat?

What the hell is this about?

The man presses down on the laptop keys. The screen flashed and begins to make a dialling sound. Unexpectedly, J's face appeared on the screen.

"What the fuck is this? Jessie is that you?"
J says from the other side of the screen.

"Yes, I don't know what's going on J, I'm scared. Help!"

"You should be scared" the masked man chuckles before kneeling in front of the laptop.

"You're friend here dies today Joker. I just thought you would enjoy seeing it." The man taunted.

"YOU LEAVE HER THE FUCK ALONE!" J shouts.

J's POV

"YOU LEAVE HER THE FUCK ALONE!" I shout.

I hear the masked man laughing at me on the other end.

"I'm going to cut this short. There is an explosive wired up to your friend's cage. I press a button and BOOM! Bye bye!" he says laughing at me once more

I watch as I see a tear fall down Jessie's face
"I'm coming Jessie!" I say in attempt to reassure her.

"You'll be too late!" the man says

With that the man starts to count down "5,4,3,2......1" suddenly I hear Jessie scream, a cloud of smoke appears blocking the view of her. Then the signal is lost.

"Jessie," I whisper. For the first time in forever I feel my eyes stinging. My tears fighting to be set free. I feel my heart sinking. I struggle to keep my breathing calm and before I know it a tear escapes. Rolling down my face, how is this possible?. The Joker, crying. I had feelings for her, feelings that I had tried to burry deep down inside me. Without warning my sadness turns to anger.

"AGGGGHHH" I shot, trying to release the burning feeling in my stomach.

"Stop the car" I say abruptly. The driver slams down on the brakes. I reach into my pocket and pull out my gun. Swinging open the car door I jump out.

And then..... I start shooting,
anyone..everyone. Old, young, male, female, rich, poor. My gun did not discriminate with the killing it did. I had to realise the anger and it worked. I stared at the bodies around me, I felt nothing. The sadness I felt for Jessie and Frost had dug itself deep down. I smile with relief as I jump back into the car.

"Take me home" I order the driver.

"What about Jessie?" He asked.

"Jessie is dead, get over it. I have." I glare at him.

"Yes boss" he says as he turns the key and drives me home.

Jessie's POV.

The smoke settles and I see the masked man in front of me smashing up the laptop. I build up the courage to asks what he is doing.

"Smashing it up so J can't use it to track us," he said looking at me. I should have guessed.

He then walks over to the cage. I back away until my back hits the metal bars. The man opens the door letting me out. I use this as an opportunity, running at him I push him over and pin him to the floor. I pull out a flip knife that I keep in my pocket and hover it over his neck.

"WAIT!" He shouts.

"Jessie it's me" he says. I lower the knife, allowing him to sit up. The man reaches up to remove his mask, I gasp at the sight of him.

"Frost!"
