it is standing some five to six feet away from him.

youngjae breaks into cold sweat. how in the world can there be another person when it has been the four of them since they arrived and he made sure to lock the front door before they drink.

he doesn't dare to turn and check, his peripheral vision says it all.

there's no one beside him, just a stack of old books he might or might not have read.

youngjae's eyes roam everywhere but the figure on the mirror, although he's trying his best not to look at the figure he can tell that the figure is slowly moving towards him.

he clasps both his hands together because at that moment it seems like it is the right thing to do as he shuts his eyes close. he prays to whoever will listen to save him from whatever it is that's beside him.

he remains in that position for who knows how long that the alcohol in his system is slowly wearing off. he doesn't want to move, he can't as if his whole body is rooted to his carpeted floor.

"youngjae," a voice calls out and he swears every single strand of hair in his body is standing upright. it knows my name fuck, he says in his head as he shuts his eyes even tighter and he bites his lips, preventing any sound to come out of it.

"youngjae," the voice calls out again and he notices how husky the voice is, it could've been pleasing to listen to if not for the fact that the owner of the voice might not be a living person.

he feels a tug at the lower part of his pants and as if a button being pressed, youngjae let out a scream. "what the hell?!" the voice says and he opens his eyes slowly and carefully look at the floor.

there lies jackson wang with a very annoyed look evident all over his face, "why were you starting a prayer vigil in front of the mirror at this ungodly hour?" jackson asks then he clicks his tongue in annoyance as he sits upright. "you even yelled when i touched you, are you on something youngjae?"

"no, no i was-" although he wants to explain himself, he knows it won't sound convincing even a bit, so he's decided not to, "i was doing a ritual to cleanse your souls," he says jokingly and jackson in return, slaps his hips.

"my soul is cleansed, i wonder about those two," jackson says pointing at mark and jinyoung, who, despite all the commotion, are still deep in their sleep.

"i'm sorry if i woke you up," youngjae says then jackson picks up his blanket and positions himself back on the sofa. "it's okay, it's not your fault" he replies as he hides under the blanket.

"how the hell did you end up lying on the floor?" youngjae asks realizing that the older was on the sofa sleeping earlier.

"i'm not sure either, i'm not one to turn a lot when sleeping," jackson says though his voice sounds a bit muffled since he's hiding under a blanket, youngjae just shrugs he doesn't want to deal with anything right now, he needs sleep.

youngjae starts walking away from the living room,

"someone must've pushed me while i was asleep," says jackson.
