after eating at a nearby restaurant, jackson gets a call from bambam.

"i have to go, bambam wants to go shopping since yugyeom's birthday is coming up," he says after ending the call with bambam.

"yea sure, take care and say hi to bam for me."

"sure bye," jackson says before walking away but making sure to leave some cash to pay for his lunch.

youngjae takes the cash and heads to the cashier to pay.

going home sounds terrible but going somewhere else sounds worse, so youngjae decided to just man up and go home.

on his way home, he sees an old lady sitting by the sidewalk with a table spread in front of her. on the table lie dubious looking bracelets and whatever ornaments and charms youngjae doesn't know of.

it piques his interest so the latter decides to give it a look.

"what are these for?" he asks the old lady.

"what are you looking for," the old lady replies, completely ignoring youngjae's question.

youngjae pauses for a while, he doesn't really know what he needs but since the situation is very shady, he might as well just go with it.

"is there something that can protect me against.. uh... ghosts?" he asks.

the old lady points to four different charms; a pyramid, a beetle, a scorpio and a unicorn.

the old lady explains to youngjae what each of the talisman, as she calls it, does. the pyramid brings wisdom and when placed under the bed it protects the owner from nightmares and evil spirits, it also helps in curing headaches and insomnia.

the beetle, which is actually called a scarab beetle, is for renewal, good luck and protection from evil forces.

the scorpio repels all evil and negative forces and it also guards against enemies.

lastly the unicorn, promotes fertility and sexual magnetism, it also protects and is a symbol for chastity.

after knowing these, youngjae decides to buy the scorpio. youngjae also learns that these aren't charms, it's something similar to a paper weight.

"i'll take that scorpio one," he says, "how much for it?"

the old lady picks up the scorpio talisman and hands it to younjae while clasping his hand with both hers. "you need it, it's all yours."
