Almost got a heart attack
With just a notification
A friend request
From my first crush…

Thought he forgot me
Seems not…
Look at his pictures
I'm the one who forgot

Is he the same guy
That serenaded me?!
Now with a beard
Muscles too
And here I am….
Same as when I was 12

What's he been up to?
He looks good
Nice and healthy
Didn't even recognize him.
What have I been doing?

We haven't seen each other
Or talked in years
And here he just comes
Randomly back in

Social media
Do I curse you?
Or be grateful
For this chance?
