James's POV

I watched the four closely. They all seemed to have very different reactions. Nico, the pale guy, looked unsurprised, bored, even. Percy looked mildly interested as if he'd dealt with stranger things, Annabeth looked shocked, with her brow furrowed like she was deep in thought. Tyson tilted his head and looked confused.

Finally Annabeth spoke. "How... Exactly did you gets here?" Remus, Lily and I started speaking all at once. Chiron pounded his hoof against the deck. "One at a time, please." He said calmly. Lily and Remus looked at me.

"Well sir-" I started. "No need to call me sir," Chiron interrupted, "Call me Chiron."

"Well, Chiron, the four of us were in Divin- wait. We're not supposed to tell this to mug- uh, normal humans. What are you guys, if you can see Chiron for what he is?" I directed that question at Nico, Percy and Annabeth. It was Percy who spoke up. He glanced at Chiron, as if for permission.

The centaur nodded, and Percy said, "you know those old stories about Greek Gods, like Zeus and his lightning bolt, Aphrodite rising from the sea foam of Ouranos's immortal essence as he was chopped to pieces, Hercules slaying the Nemean lion, stuff like that. Ever heard of those?"

I had no idea what he was talking about. I glanced the others. Remus and Sirius looked as confused as I was, but Lily was nodding slowly.

"I've heard of those. Like... Perseus killing Medusa in her sleep?" Percy nodded. "Exactly." He answered.

"But... Those are just myths. Things humans used to explain the way things worked in the olden t-times..." She trailed off, watching as Nico, Annabeth and Percy were shaking their heads.

Sirius scoffed. "C'mon Lily. I don't know what they're talking about, but I do know that normal humans think that WE are myths too. So let's not think that." He turned to Percy. "I have never heard of them." Lily stifled a laugh. "HEY!" he cried. "We didn't grow up in your world! We never learned these things!" Lily laughed.

"Oh yeah. I keep forgetting that you guys didn't have a NORMAL childhood." Sirius and Remus pretended to look offended, but I just laughed. Annabeth took a deep breath, as I'd she was about to do a lot of talking.

"Long ago, before all creation, there was only Chaos, which was a formless void, and from this sprung Gaea, the earth, and Ouranos, the sky. Their children were the Elder Cyclopes, the Hekatonkheires, and the Titans. The Titans were Oceanus, Hyperion, Coeus, Crius, Iapetus, Mnemosyne, Kronos, Rhea, Tethys, Theia, Phobe and Themis. To protect the Titans, Gaea convinced Kronos, her eldest Titan son, to cut Ouranos to pieces with his own scythe. Kronos and Rhea then had kids, who are known as the Gods. Zeus, god of the sky, Hera, goddess of marriage, Hestia, goddess of the hearth, Demeter, goddess of agriculture, Hades, god of the underworld, and Poseidon, god of the sea. Then, Zeus married Hera and had two Olympian god children, Ares, god of war, and Hephaestus, god of the forged and fire. Athena, goddess of wisdom and crafts, was born from the cracked skull of Zeus in full battle armor. Hermes, the archer twins Artemis and Apollo, and Dionysus are also sons and daughters of Zeus, but not birthed by Hera. Hermes is the god of thieves, travelers and the messenger of the gods, apollo is the sun god and the god of prophecy, Artemis is the goddess of the moon and the Goddess of the hunt, and Dionysus is the god of wine."

"Ooo-kay..." sirius said. "But what does this have to do with us?"

"Occasionally the gods have affairs with mortals, and their kids are half blooded, called half-bloods or demigods. Percy, Nico and I are half-bloods. Tyson is part god too, but not part human." Annabeth answered.

I looked at them. They looked pretty human, except for Grover and Tyson, of course. "Wait... So... You guys aren't entirely human?" Sirius asked Nico, Annabeth and Percy.
