Chapter 2-child's play

In a small town located near the coast of a small island known as Mirandia. This town is connected to it's continent by almost every way possible, from tram to bridge to subway. Within this town lays the home of a curious 9 year old known as Mike. Mike lived with his older brother Ralph, who is 6 years older than him but not as intelligent when it comes to academic ability. Mike also lived with his mother and father. Sadly Mike's father had a nasty habit of going out and getting drunk with his many mates. This addiction to alcohol Lead to many problems such as a bad role model and he would break things. Eventually Mike's mum had enough of this behaviour and kicked him out of the house. At this point it was obvious that Mike had lost his father, for good he hoped.
                    Following this tragic path of events, things get worse. Mike's parents both tried to convince Mike to join their side. Mike chose his mum as he saw her more thanks to his dad's uncontrollable addiction. Mike had had enough. He grabbed his bmx bike and peddled away, leaving his family behind. He left a note reading: 'I cannot put up with the fighting so I am leaving until you stop fighting. I don't know where I'm going but as long as it's away from this trauma, I don't care.'
