What Are You? (Chapter 5)

"I'll see you soon my love!" I said. I hung up and raced to the lake where I met the love of my life and the lake where she would soon learn my darkest secret. I was a rare human with an evil alter ego.

Azazel's POV.

I smiled when he hung up. "See you soon baby!" I said back even though the call had ended. I opened my phone and texted Elizabeth.
Lizzy🤓=Elizabeth Demon😜=Azazel

Demon😜: Please dont tell mom yet.
Lizzy🤓: Why not?😡
Demon😜: Please! Give me until next Saturday!
Lizzy🤓:Fine.
Lizzy🤓:No more than that.
Lizzy🤓:Got it?

I sighed knowing or secret was safe for now. I called Damon waiting on Neal. "What up loser!" I called when he answered. "How did I get stuck with that nickname?" He joked. "I don't know? How did I get my nickname?" I laughed. "Anyways it's late and I want sleep. I love you, bye!" He said. "I love you, bye!" I said and made the kissy sound hanging up. "Who was that?" Neal spat and jolted off in the direction he had just came from. "Neal! Wait!" I yelled running after him. He stopped to catch his breath and I caught up. "Neal- please let- me-explain!" I gasped between breaths. "Explain!" He barked. I regained my breath and stood up-right. "It was only Damon!" I said opening my phone log to show him. "See." I said smiling. "I'm sorry babe, I just thought you were cheating on me and I got mad and now I probably messed everything up!" He cried. I ran up to him and cuddled him where we were. "You didn't mess anything up baby!" I smiled. "You had every right to do that! I just should have told you me and my brother do that!" I said hoping to place the blame on me. No such luck. "It's both of our faults!" He said kissing me. "Okay babe!" I was smiling so much. "Liz said she wont tell until next Saturday." I said changing the subject as we walked back to the lake. "That gives you a week to 'ask me out' and for me to say yes... again!" He cheered. God he was so adorable. "Hey babe!" I called. I didn't want to go home and I didn't want be alone. "Hm?" He hummed signaling he was listening. "Can I stay at your place tonight? I don't want to go home and I don't want to be alone." I said cautiously. He smiled and nodded. Surprisingly this would be our first time staying the night at the other's place. "Let me text my mom real quick. You text yours!" I said. 'Staying at a friends tonight, dont worry about me xoxo!' I texted my mom and saw him texting his. 'My girlfriend is staying the night!' He texted. "I see she knows about me." I said sadly. "Don't worry babe! She'll love you!" He reassured. And just his voice made me feel better. 'Ok honey, have fun!' Our mom's texted back in unison. We laughed at this coincidence and stayed at the lake for a few more hours. "Let's head back babe!" He said standing up. "Tired!" I mumbled making grabby hands. He helped me up and I got on his back for a piggy back ride. We finally got back to his house and this time we used the front door. "Mom! I'm home!" He yelled. I groaned at the sudden noise and he apologized walking upstairs to his room. "Babe." He said. "Yeah!" I called pulling off his Welcome To The Black Parade hoodie, taking off mine and putting his on. It was big on me. It slid about 3 inches past my hands and hang down a bit. And his hoodies were big on him too, so he could wear my hoodies no problem. He grabbed mine and slipped it on. "Babe can I borrow one of your shirts? It's hot in here!" I cried. "Yeah sweety!" He cheered walking into his closet grabbing a black shirt with a forest look creating totoro.

"Babe, I'm inhuman." Neal bursted out. "Babe if this another part where you say your that ugly, don't." I said in all seriousness.

Neal's POV.

I didn't want to tell Azazel about my alter ego, but I knew I had to tell her sooner or later. "For once, I'm not saying that." I said voice going to a dead serious tone. "If I'm not acting like my normal self in 1 minute say something that makes our love stronger." I instructed. "Baby, your scaring me!" She cried. "Trust me." I smiled. 'Alright you little shit. Come out.' I told my inner demon. (Guys I need help. Dm me or leave a comment saying the name you think would sound cool. Cuz until then Neal will call him little shit! Author out.) 'Well that's no way to treat your counter part.' He teased. 'Take me over. But for no more than a minute. She will take me back if you take too long.' I demanded. He was smirking. 'Don't get too cocky!' He mocked. 'If you don't leave peacefully, I will force my way out and we both know that hurts like hell.' I was ensuring Azazel's safety. 'Thirty seconds starting..' I said counting him off. "Now!" I said out loud. "My demon will take over soon. He is opposite of me. Call him either demon or little shit, remember 1 minute. And if you see him in pain dont worry. I love yo-" I ran out of time. "Hey sexy!" He cooed. 'Don't hurt her.' I warned since I was in his head. 'Whatever.' He smirked. "You must be Neal's darling angel!" He smiled. "If you're a counter part, then haven't you seen me before?" She asked genuinely curious. "Your darling boyfriend blocked my vision, so I have never seen you before." He explained. '40 seconds' I called. "Let's hurry this up princess. I'm running low on time!" He called. "Neal, I know you can hear me. I sort of trust him. Can we have a bit more time. I want to know more. I'll tell you when you can take over again." I said. 'Tell her I said I'm only doing this because I love her.' I sighed. "He said we only have more time because he loves you!" He smiled. "So do you only exist in Neal's body, or can you live on your own?" She asked. "I can do both, but it's easier when Neal does all the work!" He smiled leaning back. 'Lazy shit!' I mumbled. "What else darling?" He said in his flirtatious voice. "Um....." She thought. "Why does Neal always call you 'little shit'?" She asked Smiling. "Because he says I'm submissive af, and I'm reeeeaallly annoying." He explained. "Well dont be awkward!" She said. "Come sit down here with me!" She laughed gesturing to the floor in front of her. "Alrighty darling!" He called seductively. 'Dont you lay a hand on her!' I yelled in his head. 'Alright, alright.' He smiled. "You are by far the prettiest lady I've seen in a long time!" He was playing her, and building his strength. "I dont know about the prettiest!" She blushed. "Come on! Why else would Neal hide you?" He flirted. He layed his arms on her shoulders. "You are beautiful! More than words can explain!" He was being too sweet.

Third Person POV.

And at that moment he shut off his internal vision so Neal couldn't see and he was strong enough to fight Neal off long enough to land a big kiss on Azazel's lips. She kissed back and a few moments later Neal found a way to try breaking through. Neal's demon jumped back and grabbed his head in pain. He screamed and Azazel was too shocked to move. Neal finally had the strength to get his body back and he was so exhausted, he passed out soon after. But little did Azazel know, Neal's demon was mean and wasn't going away anytime soon.
