I could see the clock on his wall as he stared down at me. 1:38am. "Now, I'll ask one more time. Who the fuck are you?" I gulped lightly, trying to quickly get the words out of my throat. "I-I'm Luke..." I whispered, fearful of him just pulling out a gun and shooting me.
Delirious lightly grunted at me.
"Th...the only reason I came here is...you took something from me. He laughed and it sounded like he was insane.
"If we took something from you then why do you think you would ever get it back?" His laughter started to die down and he pulled a gun from almost no where, holding it against my forehead. I didn't move an inch. Either I died or got my things back, I knew that much. "A bag!" I said quickly.
The man holding a gun to my head seemed to loosen up a little, his face seemed less tense and he just stared at me, as if finally having the last piece of the puzzle. "Luke...Luke Hill?" He asked.
I gripped my fist, hating to hear my last name but then surprize took over the uncomfortableness. "How do yo-" He slapped his hand over my mouth and growled for me to shut up. It took a moment but, I then heard some guys walking around and talking.
"Wait here, and if you try to leave or touch anything...you're dead"
I stayed there, wondering if I should just grab my bag and run. With him knowing my name I don't think I could get very far before either him or one of his friend caught me.
My eyes stayed glued to the bag. It was so close yet so far. I know he said to not touch anything but, it was my bag right? Pausing, I listened to see if anyone was close by and quickly grabbed the bag. I just needed my picture. Delirious could keep the rest of that shit, it wasn't like I needed it.
I took a small glance at the picture, seeing those faces one again slightly hurt. My hand reached up to take hold of my necklace before the door slammed open.
I yelped and tried to shove the picture into my shirt but, the guy standing there already saw it in my hands. "I-I swear I didn't touch anything of yours!"
When I got a better look at who was standing there I was confused, then scared. I thought it would have been Delirious, but instead I was face to face with the leader of BBS. He chuckled at the way I reacted. "My, my, jumpy aren't we?" Without any type of anger, or threat in his voice or the way he acted I still felt small. What they said about him was true. Vanoss seemed laid back but everything about him was intimidating.
I held the picture tightly, still under my shirt.
Just as I was about to explain why I would even think about breaking in, he held his hand up and walked into the room, sitting down.
"We won't kill you, I know who you are and why you're here."
At first I was too shocked to answer. He knew me? Does that mean I would have to run again? I could always hide with Ohm, he knew how to stay low. While all this ran through my head, the top dog started to speak again.
"That's your family, right?" I nodded softly, feeling fourteen again. Vanoss leaned back and sighed, thinking.
"Mini, I need you to go talk to our friend" He paused and turned to me. "Hm, since we were nice enough to not kill you, I think you would owe us. Isn't that fair?" Quickly, I nodded. Before he gave an offer I started to try and think of all the things I've done before. Kill, steal, rob ect.
"You will stay here, under watch of course, until we see fit that you can be trusted. You will help us on anything we have planned. Understood Rookie?" Again, I could only nod. This made him chuckle lightly. As friendly as he seemed I could tell he was planning something, or at least had something that he wasn't telling me.
I was having second thoughts but, they haven't killed me. What more could I ask for before I had crossed the line.
(Ok so I have a few ideas what to do next, only problem is that they are all awesome. Maybe I could find a way to get them all in the story? How are you all enjoying it so far? Does it need a little something something?)
