The first week

A lot of people say that their first week goes by in a blur... I never understood that because I remembered everything that happened.

"Hey cutie, what you doing this weekend?"
One of those stupid boys from the jock group said as he jogged over towards me. I was standing holding my books in my arms close to my chest as I was searching in my locker for my study notes.

"What I'm doing is none of your business" I snapped I wasn't ready to make friends nor did I want too especially with this cocky arrogant prick.

"Hey hey hey I was just asking. The guys and I wanted to know if you were free as we are having a party this weekend... We were hoping that maybe you'd come." He said without taking he's eyes off me.
That caught me a little of guard, I had to look down.
You know when it's awkward looking at someone dead in the eye. Yeah it was that feeling.

"Look I'm not looking for friends. And you guys haven't even told me your names! Let alone asked for mine!" I was starting to get slightly angry. Due to the fact that some part of me wanted to go to this party.

"Oh I'm sorry darling, we assumed that people would've told you by now... I'm Jake, those over there are the boys Jesse, James and Dean."

"Well, Jake it's nice to meet you. I'm Jasmine" I said a little sarcastically. "Was that so difficult?" I questioned.

Jake looked down a sudden rush of embarrassment flashed across his face. But as quickly as it appeared the sooner it was gone. Replaced with a flirtatious smile.

"I like your attitude, would especially like to see it more, at our party this weekend." He winked at me and left walking back over to 'the boys'

I rolled my eyes and slammed he locker door shut before hastily rushing to the canteen.

The next few days were full of talk about this up coming party. I tried to stay away from the boys but they just seemed to be in every one of my classes.
An unfortunate fact to add as well is that Dean, the only one in the group without a J in his first name was also the Alpha or soon to be alpha of our pack 'Fire Storm. One of the biggest packs around. Mainly due to everyone surrounding us joining our pack for protection of the Shadow pack. The most dangerous and savage packs known to any werewolf.

I of course didn't care that he was the alpha I only cared that him and his friends wouldn't stop torturing me to go to this lameass party.

Friday a arrived a little too soon for my liking. As on this day, everyone was going to help set up for the party in the massive pack house. (Basically a mansion for werewolves) so you could've said the party starts tonight.

"...and with that class I concluded today's lesson. Please read the 4 chapters as homework and write a summary of your understandings. Due Monday morning." Our English teacher Ms B said right before the bell went.

I grab everything I'll need for this weekends homework out of the tiny excuse of a locker slam it shut and walk out the doors towards my car a Nissan skyline. The car was meant to be given to me as a present from my brother for my 18th but he ended up leaving the pack as his mate was of a different clan. They meet while fighting one time and became inseparable. Only wish he stayed longer.

"Oi nice ride you got there!" A girl by the name of Fern said running up to me. Her and I had somewhat become friends against all of my persistence against her.

"Yeah thanks..." I mumbled a little annoyed at how she just pops up everywhere.

"Hey so you going tomorrow night? To the party. I mean I'm going so wanna go together. Not like a date or anything just as friends as I don't really know anyone and was hoping to go with someone so I a lone. I just thought because you were new that you'd like to go with someone as well. It would be nice to go don't you think? Like I'll still go by myself it's not like I won't go to this biggest party ever if you didn't come with me..." her voice trailed off as I just started thinking that going with someone might not be so bad after all.

"Yeah Im going. Hey if you want to maybe you could help me dress for this occasion." I asked, I didn't really own any party type clothes. I owned jeans shirts and crop tops but not dresses or presumably "sexy" clothing.

Her eyes filled with excitement "heck yeah! Let's go shopping right now we have a lot to prepare for."

Apparently I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
