"It's my mom" he said softly

"Then...how come you're so worried?" I asked

"She doesn't know about you. I promised her she could come down here today for the weekend and...my moms kinda protective of me because m-my brother" he said shyly

"So....why exactly can't I just walk out there and meet her?"

"Like I said she's protective and she isn't a people person"

I nodded.

"Ethan darling! Where are you" his mom yelled.

"Hide!" Ethan yelled softly.

I nodded I threw on my clothes and slid under the bed just in time because soon as I did the door opened

"Didn't you hear me calling you?" His mom snapped

"Sorry mom, I had in my headphones"

"Oh, wel- oh god it smells like complete sweat in here!" She claimed

"Yeah I was doing a lot today in here"

"Mhm..." she said walking around and inspecting things. "So...what exactly have you been doing, son?" She asked looking in the closet

"Cleaning up, and just doing random st-"

"I'm not dumb, Ethan. I know there's a girl in here, the whole damn apartment smells like absolute sex!" she yelled making me shiver

"There isn't a girl in here mom!" Ethan exclaimed

"Then explain...THESE!!" She said holding up my bra. "You don't have any man tits so who's is this?"

"Fine...I had a girl over last night" he mumbled

"What have I told you about girls?!"

"They get me too upset and frustrated. I know, I know but-"

"No buts Ethan, if you go over the edge again you could go to jail and if you go to jail I'm not going to buy you out like all those other times."

Other times?!?!?

"Mom, I know. But...Kendall is different" he smiled

"You may think that right now but unfortunately, son they're all the same" she sighed

"If you meet her I'm sure you'll like he-"

"No" she said sternly "All people just try to make good impressions, for all I know she could be wild as hell but no...when she meets me she's all nice and calm and polite"

"Mom, please. For me? If you don't like her then fine you won't see her anywhere near me anymore"

She thought about it then sighed once again.

"Fine, invite this Kendall over right now. I'm going downstairs to the vending machine"

"Oh, I have soda here"

"Yeah, but you put drugs in you're soda" she rolled her eyes.

As soon as she walked out the apartment room I got out from under the bed.

"Really?!"

"Go get ready" Ethan said pushing me out the door

"Ethan Ima kill you!" I said banging my fists on his door,

"Not if I kill you first" he laughed

When he said that my heart sunk.

"I'm just kidding, go get dressed" he said

I walked back to my apartment room and started to get ready to meet his stubborn mom
