I wasn't too thrilled to see her drinking. Not that I didn't want her to enjoy herself, I just didn't want her regretting anything. She didn't seem the type to drink, Vera confirmed that when she said it was her first time. But I'm here to take care of her so I don't mind if she let's loose, besides I think she needs this.
We played some games with the girls, munching on chips and downing a few beers. I could see Jake flirting with my baby sister. If you're wondering, I'm okay with it. I'd rather it be Jake than anyone else in this world considering I have known him so long, I trust him with everything in me. Tanner and Tyler were chatting up a storm with Em, giving Indie and I the chance to talk more.
I craved to hear her voice. It's like velvet and just rolls right off her lips elegantly. What intrigues me the most, is I can tell she doesn't know just how breath taking she really is.
And if we're being honest, it's one of the reasons I'm so attracted to her. Another one being that she looks like an angel. She's so easy to be happy around, and her laugh... fuck me. I groaned internally as I looked down at the little brown haired goddess. The things I could do to this girl...
Man the hell up and talk to her.
"Wanna get some fresh air?," I asked as she finished the last of her wine cooler.
She nodded and we walked out of the game room and down the hallway to the back yard. She gasped when we walked outside making me whip around, checking her for any injuries before noticing the awe plastered on her place.
She looked around at the fairy lights my sister had thrown about under the gazebo. "Wow," she whispered.
I couldn't help but smile at her being so easily fascinated. "Vera loves to decorate," I said. She looked at me and her eyes sparkled in pure happiness. "It's beautiful, Milo," she replied softly. My heart almost leapt right out of my chest when I heard her say my name. I would've handed her the world on a silver platter of she'd ask me to, without a second thought.
Wanting to take her under the lights, I took her small hand in mine. Sparks ignited all up my arm. I know she felt it too because she yanked out of my hold within a split second, which in turn made me frown.
I barely know her and she has me wrapped around her little finger.
"I won't bite mi amor." I said as I held my hand back out, already missing the feel of her soft skin.
She looked at me hesitantly for a moment but thankfully decided to accept my offer. I let her place her hand in mine this time, remembering how my mom told me to be patient and gentle. When she did though, the sparks came back again making me uncontrollably smile.
I looked down at her and she was staring at our hands as she walked beside me, a smile forming on her plump lips. I could feel her trembling a bit the closer we got. Was she nervous? Or was she cold? What if she didn't like holding my hand? What if my hands are too rough? I was racking my brain trying to figure out the answer without asking her. I was so lost in my thoughts, I didn't realize we were already standing under the wooden roof.
"This is so beautiful," she said after taking it all in.
I threw her my best smile, "not compared to you."
She smiled widely at me before shivering again. I would've asked if she wanted my jacket, but then I noticed the pink tint to her cheeks. She wasn't cold. She was nervous. Meaning, she definitely felt something with me.
I walked closer to her and pushed a few strands behind her ear, my hand brushed against her cheek and I could feel the heat radiating off of it. My actions caused her to become even more anxious as she began to bite on her lower lip. I almost took her right there.
