I get looks from a lot of people in my next class. Gosh, what did I do wrong?!

Avina looks at me, suspicious.

"Are the rumours true?" She whispers.

"What?!" I whisper-yell. There are rumours? About what?

"You yelled at the new kid and slammed your locker on him." There's some silence.

"Only partially." I respond.

"Ezara! Seriously! He's new, hot and possibly single! Why would you do that?!"

"He wasn't respecting my privacy considering I only met him an HOUR ago."

"Not a smart move, Ez"

"Oh whatever! It's not like I'm looking for a guy anyway."

"But isn't everybody?"

"I'm not everyone" I say quietly.

"I'm sorry, Ez. I just figured, because your 57.1 and all."

There's a little silence when I feel a warm thing on my shoulder. Not again!

"Hey!" Rinanca sings into my ear. Oh, good. At least its not Levi. I've known Rin since forever and a day, so it's super-nice to see her again. She's one of those people you just know will always be there for you. I'm not a deep, sentimental person, but if I was, I'd tell her that.

"Rinanca! It's been like, forever!" I say. "This is Avina, I met her on our bus."

"Yo!" Avina salutes. I roll my eyes, Avina is so weird.

"Nice to meet ya!" Rin exclaims.

"Sooo, what's been going on, Ez?"

"Nothing mu-"

"This really hot new guy is SO into her!" Avina squeals. Every student in the room turns immediately and stares at me.

"Oh my gosh..." I facepalm hard. Rinanca and Avina giggle together.

"Nothing much. Riiiight." Rin smirks knowingly at me.

"He's not! And I'm not interested anyway." I grunt.

"Rinanca. Late again. Am I going to have to start giving you detention notices? And PLEASE be quiet back there girls, most of us here are trying to learn." Our Math teacher, Mr Danphy gives us a cold glare.

I start towards the bus back home.

"Yo!" Levi comes up from behind me. "We catch the same bus, I believe." He grins.

"Looks like it," I sigh.

"I don't smell that bad, do I?" Levi jokes.

"I'm not answering that." Mainly because he actually smells really nice - that's some good cologne.

"Have it your way," he tails me into the bus. I plop myself down in my usual seat and moments later, Levi plonks his butt on Avina's seat.

"Um... That seat's not for you," I tell him.

Just then, Avina enters the bus and her eyes avert in my - and Levi's - direction. She smirks and sits in the seat in front of us.

"What'd I tell you?" She says with a sly smile.
