Robin Hood in books and movies

In the early poems ,which were printed more than a century later ,Robin is more like a real medieval bandit which kills bloodily and also enjoys it.
Slaying Guy of Gisborne ,he usually sticks his head on the end of his bow and makes a deadly shot!
But with time as characters and adventures were added by writers like Sir Walter Scott as in the novel Ivanhoe,
Robin was later transformed into a romantic figure we all recognize today.Robin Hood stories like THE MERRY MEN and Medieval poems were so popular and sold well .
Robin Hood adventure have been turned into dozens of movie,most of which have little or nothing to do with the rough life of medieval bandit!
