Today,Robin Hood is famous and known as a deadly shot with longbow.
When the Robin Hood legend began,long bows were hardly used .
From the mid-13th century they began to appear in legal records as a favourite weapon of robbers.
They later played a vital role in England's victories at Crécy in year 1346 and Agincourt in year 1415.
Other weapons like crossbow were used,but longbow was used the most,it was much cheaper,quicker and easy to use.
