Do you know that she is on the brink of giving up on you?
Do you know that she is humiliated everyday because she has a fiance who doesn't even remember her?
Do you know that this fiancee of yours doesn't want to love you anymore?
But Do You Know That She Can't Stop Loving You No Matter What?
I wrote this letter years ago. But it never reached it's receiver because the sender was too much of a coward. Pretty ironic being the goddess of war, Ceara.
I was still a child when I first met Yato. We became friends instantly. Not knowing that we were to be married once we were of the right age. But after I earned my shrine, I got busy and it drew us apart. Yet I always longed for you to visit me, but I very well know that you forgot me. You didn't fall in love with me that day, I did. And I am suffering because of that.
There's no point being tied down to a fiance who doesn't even remember the promise.
It's time to end it.
I'm gonna visit him. Put an end to the engagement so I won't have to live the rest of my life, still loving Yato.
*knock*knock*knock*
"Come in."
"Papa?"
"Ah, Ceara my child. What is it?"
"I will be leaving for a couple of days Papa. I just wanted to let you know."
"May I know where?"
"I'm not yet sure, but it'll be in Tokyo."
"When?"
"Tomorrow."
"Safe journey dear."
"You will be fine on your own, right Papa?"
"No worries child."
I didn't wat to tell him I was going to meet Yato and end the betrothal. It would hurt him, he always loved Yato as a son. After all, Yato is father's best friend's son.
"Ceara dear?"
"Yes Papa?"
"Say hello to Yato for me would you?" Papa always knew me inside out.
