“TRINGGG “The alarm rang so loudly that Aishwarya woke up with a jolt from her bed. She stared idly at her alarm before turning it off and headed towards the bath to get ready. She checked the mobile to see 17 missed calls since morning from the director’s Office of “Quantum PHYSICS JOURNO”. Well getting a missed call from the office on a weekend is one thing but getting 17 missed calls that too s early on Saturday is totally another thing. There was a message left for her in the voicemail. It said;

“Meet Mr. Davisson Thompson immediately, at the office. Urgent matters. Cannot wait.”

“Davisson Thompson!” exclaimed Aishwarya. The director of the world famous renowned research facility Quantum PHYSICS journo contacting Aishwarya – a mere divisional head for multidimensional and entanglement theory. This was too much to take in.

She dressed immediately and asked her chauffer to get the car and left for the lab. The research facility was a towering campus built in the lush green outskirts of Shimla for safety as well as privacy of the researches. The fortification for the Journo was also one of a kind with stringent security measures and multi faceted identification proof arrangements for its employees, you just can’ break inside it. The guard at the gate checked the vehicle and a device checked Aishwarya face for conformation.

At level two she deposited her thumb impression for further proof and the guard opened the car doors.

“Namaste, madam” The simpleton said humbly.

“Good morning, Bridji” said Aishwarya before leaving for the director’s office

Aishwarya was a highly unique girl in many ways. She was for one thing very bold and courageous. Polite yet firm in her demeanor she cast an aura of bold and beautiful. At an age of 27, her scientific researches were speaking for themselves. From a simple lab assistant she had risen to become the divisional head of experiments conducted by the “Quantum Physics” journo, India.

At the entrance lobby for director’s office a swab from her cheek was taken and examined for further identification proof.

“You may proceed” the telecom beeped.

“Calm down, it’s alright” muttered Aishwarya to herself and mustering all her courage Knocked the director’s door.

“Mr. Thompson May I come in?”

"You may" said a deep voice from within.

At an age of 40 THompson struck an awesome personality with a tall physqiue and rugged feature. The ready smile smile on his face only added to his impressive persona. Today however his 1000 watt smile was missing.

"Good morning Miss.Iyer, you finally seemed to have received the message" he remarked.

"I didn't have work for the week end sir. As fo the message I left as soon as a saw it" replied Aishwarya.

"You must be wondering why I have called you on a weekend Miss.Iyer, There is something pressing that you should immediately be notified of and I wanted to do it personally myself"

The journo boss wants to notify me! It was reason enough to alarm anyone, one did not meet the director on daily basis let alone be informed by him.

" So tell me Miss.Iyer what are the latest pogress you have done in your work?"

"Hem.." Iyer was slighlty taken aback, to her credit however she rallied." Sir as you might be aware of ,my team is working on the multi-dimensional theory that suggests the prescense of more than 3 dimensions to the world. The fourth dimension as we are all aware of is time. The hypothesis however  suggest  ten dimensions. Though consideredto be a part of the obselete estoric science we believe that multi dimenson is real science and it can help us unravel the mysteries surronding the course of the universe." Aishu paused uncertainly.

"Go Ahead" said the director.

" As you are aware of Sir, we are now trying to verify how deeply entwined are the universe and dimensions.'

"So you must be of the Idea that this a very advanced banched of science, highly modern, unique and new?" questioned DAvisson

"Ye..yes"answered Iyer uncertainly as to where this conversation was leading her. Hardly the questions to be asked on a saturday morning.

"What if I say that I disagree with you Miss.Iyer and show you clear proof that his concept is very old -Ancient- if I might use the word."

"Impossible Sir, Are you trying to tell me that a certain hairy monk with parchments and quills penned an alarmingly advanced hypothesis?" Aishwarya was definitely irritated now. Mixing philosophy and physics, has the director lost his screws?

"No Miss.Iyer I don't know whether the author was hairy or  even a monk"he chuckled

"But miss Iyer, my reason for calling you here was precisely this. There are certain startling evidences that I have unearthed or rather my RART has uncovered which you must go through . I have noticed that you have been a talented female, I hope you keep you prejudice aside and wok on it. My reason for calling you here today was to prepare you mentally for this. You indifference to philosophy or abhorrence to theology shouldn't cause professional poblems."

"Righ"mumbled Aishu

If the Reseach And Response Team(RART) had stumbled across something then it most certainly couldn't be neglected rather it would be-as Davisson had claimed- starling and accurate. The RART was a special response team that had an electric mix of archaeologists, yester year researchers, and on-field commandos to do their bidding. The job of RART was to aid the Journo's experiments by providing vital on-field and rarely archaeological informations and findings, comprising of statistical data and also equipment fine tunings. Infact there were strong rumours that RART also spied on other countries research databases, tapping telephonelines etc.

Whatever personal reason Aishu might have for her indifferences, she had no powers to diobey a direct command from her director.

"Okay. Miss.Iyer. I shall brief you on monday. You may leave now" Dismissed th director.

Thus confused Iyer returned home only to see someone waiting at the lobby for her.
