i heard two knocks on the door and i yelled,

"who is it?"

"it's me. yoongi."

"leave me alone."

"can we talk?"

"no."

"just for ten minutes."

"no. go away."

"five minutes?"

"fine..."

yoongi opened the door and closed it behind him. he sat on my couch and said,

"why do you seem to hate me so much?"

"give me a reason why i shouldn't hate you."

"what do you mean?"

"every single thing you do makes me want to punch you in the face."

"like what? what did i do?"

"you break girls' heart. you beat innocent people up. you skip classes. you-"

you broke my heart.

"and that's wrong?"

"umm yes. that is wrong. are you that stupid to the point you didn't realise that?"

"first of all, those girls were annoying. second of all, those innocent people were annoying. third of all, people in my classes are annoying. it's not my fault."

"well, guess what? i find you annoying but do i beat you up? no, i don't."

"well-"

"can you leave me alone?"

"can i ask you something?"

"what is it?"

"what made you stop having a crush on me?"

there was silence in the room for almost a full minute.

"you became an asshole."

"i-"

"i liked you when you were nice. before you became an asshole and-"

and broke my heart.

"and?"

"and became annoying."

"i should go now."

"yeah. you should."

yoongi walked out of my room through the door but before he closed the door, our eyes met.

i saw the pain in his eyes and he saw the pain in my eyes.

we saw the pain that we caused to each other in each other's eyes.

i covered myself with my blanket and started crying.

little did i know that yoongi was doing the same thing in his room.

salty tears streamed down my face before falling onto my pillow and making it damp.

"what made you stop having a crush on me?" kept replaying in my head.

you broke my heart.

you hurt me.

i felt melancholy.

i loved you.

but i was too afraid to tell you.
