"do you want to buy it?"

"can we?"

she looked at me with puppy eyes. i could tell she really wanted to buy it.

"of course, we can."

we went to cashier, buying nothing except the biscuit.

then, we went home.

we sat on the floor and i opened the packet.

i accidentally got crumbs everywhere.

i passed her a biscuit and together, we took our first bite in the biscuit.

we looked at each other in the eye.

emotion.

emotion was all that i saw in her beautiful, brown eyes.

"i missed this taste."

"me too."

"i miss the us when we were little kids."

"me too."

because i miss you.

so we sat on the floor and finished the entire packet of the biscuit.

"so... do you want to play hide and seek?

"sure. i'll hide first!"

just like the old times, she ran off to hide excitedly.

i cover my eyes with my hands and counted to twenty.

my heart was pounding.

i was happy.

excited.

thrilled.

i was going to play hide and seek with the girl i love.

just like how we did so as little kids.

once i was done counting, i walked around the house looking for yeona.

"yeona?"

i checked the closet that she used to hide in all the time.

it was empty.

this house brings back so many memories.

we used to be best friends and played together all the time in this house.

but now, we're just friends.

it hurts to know that we are nothing more than friends.

"yeona? where are you?"

i heard something drop in the room next to the one i was in.

found you.

i walked into the room and saw that the room was empty.

then i had a brilliant idea.

i closed the door.

and saw yeona hiding behind it.

"found you."

"good job..."

she sulked and walked out of the room.

"yeona. you okay?"

"i'm fine. i'm not a sore loser. not at all."

i laughed at her response.

so many years have passed and she's still so cute.

"can i have one of your cookies?"

"you'll have to catch me first."

and she ran off.
