Don't Give Up

Andy P.O.V.
The entire ride in the ambulance I held onto Ashleys hand as I watched the heart moniter. It dropped slowly. I squeezed his hand tightly, "Don't give up on me Ash... Please..." I mumbled as I held his hand to my lips. His breathing was shallow and I wished only to see his beutiful brown eyes open.

Ashley P.O.V.
I looked on past the shadow, to the brightness I could only describe as heaven. I waited to be let past then heard Andys voice from everywhere around me, "Don't give up on me Ash... Please..." I looked around, "Andy?" I called out. The shadow spoke in an even voice, "You're dying. He's waiting for you to go back to your body." It said. I shook my head, "I can't go back now." I responded.

Andy P.O.V.
Once at the hospital, I was pushed from the room. Doctors surrounded him as I watched from a window. The moniter finally flatlined and my heart dropped. The doctors started clearing out. The final one pulled the plug from the machine and walked out. "You can go in but he's gone." The doctor said remorsefully. I nodded and walked into the room. I took Ashleys hand in mine, "I will always love you..." I whispered as tears slipped down my cheeks. I looked at his face before pulling the sheet to cover it. "Goodbye, Ashley." I whispered, my voice breaking at the end.

Ashley P.O.V.
The world was white. No matter where I looked. I tried to speak but my voice was hoarse, "Andy?" I asked aloud and suddenly color flooded my view as a sheet was removed from my face and Andy threw his arms around me, "You asshole. I thought you were dead!" He sobbed into my shoulder, "I know." I whispered
