"Abi this is the last time I'm calling you! You had better come down here or I'm coming up there to get you. We are almost late for god sake; you wouldn't want to be late for your first day at a new school now would you?" Lucy called out furiously; she had been calling Abigail for the past fifteen minutes to no avail. She knew that Abi was still mad at her. They had only moved here four days ago and she hasn't stopped whining and complaining about how bad a mother she was for forcing them to move half way across the country.
"Oh believe me mom; I would love to be late for my first day and every day after that. If it were up to me, I wouldn't have moved to begin with. much less, go to that school where I'm forced to attend with the person who has made my life miserable from the moment we were born. The least you could have done is take me to a different school far from him. Mom I-"
"Honey, please stop....Let's continue this in the car if you want us to okay? And stop talking about your brother in that way! Where is he by the way?"
"Don't know. Don't care. He can walk to school for all I care"
"I spent more than ten minutes calling you....so why would I make your brother walk to school?"
"Uhmm, because he is waaay fatter than me and needs the exercise!?"
"You would love that wouldn't you sis? Oops, too late because I'm already here...now let's go cause I've got a school to get to" David said with a smirk on his face as he hurried down the stairs.
Abi swore under her breath and rolled her eyes as they headed to the car. "Great, not only did I move to a new town but I'm stuck with this idiot who apparently also happens to be my brother. Oh God, could my life get any worse than this? Why did I have to have a twin brother...Just whyyyy? If I had a chance, I would've sold him a long time ago." She said mentally. She was in the front seat with Lucy and they were almost at school."So...what will we be doing at school today sis?" David asked, interrupting her thoughts.
"Uhmm, excuse me...there is no 'we'. You are on your own and so am I...What YOU are gonna be doing is none of my business and I have no intention whatsoever on telling you what I would be doing."
"Tough cookie huh? Cheer up for god sake...It's a beautiful morning." David said smiling just to annoy Abi. Abigail turned around to face him, rolled her eyes when she saw him smiling and gave him her best fake smile before facing the front again and plugging in her earphone to log out her mom and brother. They eventually reached the school. Lucy looked at David, smiled at him and said good bye. She then turned to Abigail and told her to promise to try and not to kill her brother and apologized once more before saying good bye. Abigail said she couldn't promise her that before stepping out of the car and closing the door behind her. David was halfway towards the school; he couldn't wait to make new friends. Lucy watched as Abi walked towards the school, shook her head, and then drove to work.
The day went by quite smoothly. David being the tall, dark and handsome lad with a perfectly sculptured masculine body that he was, was already famous with the girls and he had already signed up for the soccer A-team. Abi on the other hand was more withdrawn, she went about her day ensuring that no one notices her and she successfully managed to avoid running into her brother. Thank God they were in different classes otherwise she just wouldn't have been able to cope. It was break time now and Abi was rushing to go to the toilets on the first floor from the second floor since the ones on second floor were over crowded. She was in such a rush that she wasn't really concentrating on what was in front of her. Someone bumped into her and she stumbled, almost falling.
"Hey, watch where you are going." The person said.
"You should be the one to watch where you are going. And by the way, you are on the wrong side of the stairs."
"Wrong side of the stairs my foot! This is a free school."
"Free school? It's a private school so there is nothing free about it you knuckle head, where have you heard of a free private school? There are rules and according to them, this is the female side of the stairs. Now move the hell out of my way asshole."
"Hmmm, playing tough I see huh?" He smirked at her. She had seen that face somewhere before, she just couldn't remember where. Either way she hated him already. How dare he stopped her...She hadn't rushed out of class just to be stopped by some idiot.
"GET THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY!" She shoved him furiously, narrowing her eyes at him."Whoa okay, okay...You don't need to cry baby girl." He said with his hands held up to gesture that he surrenders with a huge grin on his face. Abi shot a deadly glare in his direction before walking away towards the toilet. "I don't like him one bit...What an asshole huh? Mxxm, stupid idiot wasting my precious time." She said to herself. She was glad to find the toilets empty and went in front of the mirror to freshen up and suddenly put on a serious face.
"Well, isn't my life just sooo great huh?" she said sarcastically; throwing her arms dramatically in the air before holding her waist and continued "Who could have guessed that I'd be moving to a new school with that creature they say is my twin? Oh Lord, did you really have to give me a twin? And that asshole that I ra...No wait, that ran into me today? Urgg" she screamed and stomped her feet furiously on the floor unconscious of the environment she was in.
"You are gonna break your feet if you continue doing that."
Abi looked up into the mirror in front of her and saw a pretty girl standing behind her, smiling. She was caramel brown with long, black curly hair and deep dimples. She had a curvy, athletic body that showed she worked out, and had a small waist and chest with the most beautiful pair of legs.
"Oh I'm so sorry...Oh my gosh, this is so embarrassing."
"No worries. I should be the one apologizing. I didn't mean to invade your privacy. Oh by the way, I'm Kendra Cruz but you can call me KC like everyone else does." The girl said politely as she held out her hand for a handshake. Abi took and shook it before saying "Abi, Abigail Jones. It's nice meeting you KC."
"Nice meeting you too. You are new here right? I'm sorry but I must confess that I couldn't help but to overhear the conversation you just had with yourself."
"Oh yes I am...are you too?"
"Nope I'm actually from around here...I can give you a tour around if you'd like"
"Okay, that would be awesome...I'd love that very much"
"Okay, you do know where your class is right?"
"Sure, sure. And I was already informed where the rest of my classes would be held."
"Lunch together yeah? We'll start the introduction then, first around the school then we proceed to the rest of the town."
"Can we start with the mall please?"
"You love shopping too?"
"Oh yes, how can I not? I'm like the biggest shopping freak ever!"
"MEEE TOOOOOOO!" Kendra replied excitedly.
Both girls giggled while clapping their hands, jumping up and down and hugging each other in excitement.A/N: Hiii guys. I hope this was good enough for you to want to continue on to the next chapter.
