Chapter 28

Pisces POV

I sat outside the hospital room Cap was in.

I couldn't bare to look at him.

I checked my phone.

206 missed calls from Scorp.

I sighed and finally answered the call.

"PISCES WHAT THE FRICK I WAS ABOUT TO CALL THE POLICE! WHERE ARE YOU?! I AM SO WORRIED RIGHT NOW! APHMAU IS AT HER GRANDMA'S! WHERE ARE YOU?!" Scorpio screamed into the phone.

"I'm in the Hospital..." I spoke though my tears.

"WHAT?! HOW DID YOU GET THERE?! WHAT HAPPENED?!"

"Not me... Cap he... he got hit by a car... while trying to save me..."

"CAP?! HOW DID HE GET THERE?!"

"We just bumped into each other and... we talked and I was crossing the road and a car was coming right at me and... Cap put himself in my position and saved me..."

"I AM COMIGN OVER!"

Then Scorpio ended the call.

I took a deep breath and began crying again.

These flashbacks I keep having are unbearable...

[flashback]

A car was heading my way, it's lights blinding me.

I covered my eyes and suddenly I heard Capricorn.

I turned towards him, and he looked... terrified... he looked like... he cared so much...

He was running towards me...

I felt him push me and I landed onto the other side.

Then... the car hit him...

I screamed as his head fell onto the concrete, blood draining out of his head.

"CAP!" I screamed and fell to my knees.

Tears fell onto the cold, damp ground.

[end of flashback]

I cried and cried...

These memories are too unbearable... they are so... sad...

I tried to think of the happy times but...

Capricorn was in nearly every single on of them.

Tears were still flooding out of my eyes when Scorp and the others arrived.

Cancer immediately ran over to me, hugged me and tried to cheer me up.

I cried  on her shoulder until I finally fell asleep.

I had a strange dream.

It was about Cap and I back at the footpath before the accident.

Then he jumped after me, saved me and...

Got hit by the car...

I ran over to him and it was like he was still dying...

He stroked my cheek and whispered, "I will always be by your side..."

Then he died and I screamed.

I woke up screaming too, my face full of tears again.

I began crying and since everyone else was asleep except for Scorp he ran over to me, cradled me in his arms and rocked me to sleep.

It was what my mum did to me when I had nightmares as a child.

Scorp was like my big brother. He was always by my side, ready to help me.

I fell asleep again and had a nice dream.

Of me and Cap together with Aphmau having a beautiful family life.

And it was like I never left him.

Like we were always together....

Scorpio's POV

I was about to fall asleep when I heard Pisces scream and begin crying.

I ran to her side and cradled her in my arms till she dozed off again.

After I went into Cap's room, where he lay, his pulse beeping.

I sat next to him, and looked into his face.

He looked restless...

Like he was fighting death.

Like he wanted to live very badly.

"Why did you have to turn up at the wrong timing?" I whispered and smiled at his face.

In him I could still see that study loving nerd he was in high school, dreamily looking at little Pisces and wishing he had a future with her.

Looks like his dreams betrayed him huh?

He had no future with Pisces after all...

Or the worst he could expect.

She left him...

Yet for a good reason.

Pisces left him so he could fulfil his dreams...

"What was your dream you wished most for... after all..." I whispered mainly to myself.

I then came back outside and tried to sleep.

It was not easy.
