"so? when is our wedding?" So Yeon said snuggling closer to Leo, as we all sat getting ready to watch a movie together, it was supposed to be a late hangover until she decided to speak up ruining the mood . " cant you discuss business later ?" I said and the other members agreed with me, so yoen glared at me " you're just bothered and jealous aren't you" she said smirking ,I pressed my lips together and looked up, meeting Leo's emotionless eyes but then I looked away " Yeon! I invited you here because I was forced to by your mother ! so don't try to start up an argument again" Leo firmly said, and she immediately zipped up her mouth. soon enough hyuk started up the movie.
I could've been the one snuggling closer to Leo in this moment, I could've have been the one who's he brought flowers to every day, my hands could have been the one that he would slide the ring through. we even confessed to each other ...but then everything disappeared when So yeon , Leo's relative, as her parents arranged their marriage to form strong work bonds, slowly I felt as if she had sucked him into her heart and made him totally forget about me.
I was lost in my thought as I stared blankly at my hands before my phone rang and I picked it up " Honey ...iam sorry to disturb you .. but I cant find my medicine , please can you help me ..." my mom spoke through the phone and I felt the shiver in her weak voice " mom , its okay ill be there in few minutes you dont need to worry " I said before ending the call and stood up " I need to go ..my mom needs me " I said and they paused the movie, and I started making my way out
" should I drop you?" Leo spoke up from behind. i stopped and turned staring into his soul trying to find out where did this question came from... but he stood up " Wait! why cant hackyeon drop her ?" So yeon spoke up loudly, " I need to take care of those kids " hackyeon says refering the other memebers, she grined her teath " come back quickly then " she said pouting, and leo nodded before grabbing my wrist lightly and running outside ,I cant sink in love all over agian ...he is already gone , we walked silently to his car, and he drove quitley before it started raining ..." l-leo.. c-cant you drive a bit faster, my mom hates it when it rains and i am not at home .." I said," I know " Leo muttered focussing on the road and pressing hard on his engine. I must be dum..of course Leo would know, I am still taking to the same Leo, it's not like he literally became a new person yet. my mom can't stand being alone on a rainy night, it rewinds dads death.
it was a sad night outside at the funeral , my mom fell on her knees as she broke down to her tears again, I held my mom's hands and the other one was in leo's palm secured, slowly again my tears drop as the coffin slidded underground, suddenly the sky, as if it felt our sour painful hearts as in that moment the skye fell shedding its heavy tears with us , and my heart failed me as I held my fist tightly against my chest at that time I had leo next to me conforting me that whole time .
it seemed like I wasn't the only one in a pause of a flashback, as the moment I looked up I saw a strong flash coming our way, and I looked at Leo who was staring into space before a tear slid down his cheek, " LOOK OUT " I screamed," w-what ?" he said before the car hit and I felt my heart jump and the car began spinning and my head hit the window hardly breaking it and my vision went black.
my eyes slowly opened, and I blinked twice before the pain-stricken my head, the first thing my orbs captured was a white ceiling , I tried shifting but my body felt stuck down , I slowly turn my head and faced an IV infusion ( the nutrition thing they use to deliver to blood ), where am i ? i thought, still, my vision was blurry and dizzy, suddenly my eyes fixed with a blurry face, " A-are you awake miss! ??" the person said with their unfamiliar voice followed by a sound of a door smacked open and more voices surrounding me everywhere and it became a nuisance, as I felt the pain in my head rise stronger,"l-leave me alone~ " I moaned but they became louder.
"(Y/n) !!!! ARE YOU AWAKE !?""you're finally awake !!!"," leo will finally get out of his misery "" God blessed us !"
My ears caught a couple of frases before I shut my eyes tightly trying to get my causiousness right, and trying to grab all the air I could inhale in this second, feeling the sweat form on my neck , I fianlly won over the gravity that was pulling me to death and flutterd my eyes wide as the light found its way back inside my orbs , and the picture cleard ." miss (Y/n),c-can you see me clearly?!" the person earlier asked who was wearing a white doctors coat ."y-yes..." I muttered softly and bearly, exhausted. my eyes then shifted, as I witness my mom and hackyeon, and found my self in a hospital bed, at that moment I ignored everything and shifted my eyes at my body, my body looked hopeless, tubes went through my neck and hands to my internal body, my arms appeared weak and fragile as they were pale with a hint a purple . I sifted my eyes up and asked, " What happened ?" ..."m-my poor baby... I can't believe your awake , i thought you'll leave me too" my mom said as her tears slide down her cheeks, hackyeon held up his tears as possible as he could, all his struggles were clearly showing on his face , with his red swollen eyes he exhaled and spoke up " i-it all started 1 year ago when Leo offered to drive you back home on a rainy night ....

the car smashed harshly into the other one, after my tears dropped to the thought of the moment (Y/n) lost her father, the vehicle spun around in a circular motion and smashed into a pole, my head hit on the steering wheel and blacked out ,I gain my cautiousness back and opened my eyes slowly and gazed right, my eyes widened in horror, as I saw ( Y/n ) unconscious covered in blood, next to me,(Y-Y/n)! wa-ake up" i said reaching out, but i couldn't move, forcing my body with all the energy left in me but i felt paralyzed no muscle listened to my scream, i started sobbing hardly "(Y/N)!!! " I screamed choking on my tears as my vision started parting me to the sound of the ambulance in the background.
"you then fell in a coma and for leo..he broke almost most of his backbone but luckily none of his major nerves was damaged, he broke up with So Yeon and cancelled the wedding the moment he was discharged, and the spent all the funds he earned over that accident ... e-every day he would visit you .. and talk to you like a crazy man, he would share his work stories and dreams, clean your body, and he even celebrated with you every event ... his favorite one was your birthday because he said that he saw your soul and you spoke to him..." hackyeon explained , I didnt realize that I was tearing up the whole time, I made him go through all this mesery , I looked at my hands " i-iam s-sorry " i whisperd exhaleing all the pain out , but then the door few open and I saw a shocked leo standing there, he looked speachless as his hands began to shake and he immediatly ran towards my weak fragile figure embraceing me into his wide chest , " i-iam s-sorry " he cryed out loud on my back before I felt him shiver and sob heavily , I sniffed resting my chin on his shoulder , " i-i never knew we would end up in such a situation" I said tighting my arm around him dispite the pain I earned from my sour body, " i never missed you more than this and I will never let go, ill never make the same mistake again" leo said as his tears damped my back .
Moral: you'll never how much a person values to you until the moment they will side between your own hands, open your eyes and thank them for every second they have spent with you before they disappear.
