"aren't you going to discuss it with me now? my only daughter ?" my mother spoke up, I look up from my paperwork to mother frowning ."I am not done with my work, to discuss why I should act like someone I am not because I am from a noble family " I said, " no you idiot !"mother said hitting my head " we are talking about the king whos looking for a lady to marry off the crown prince ! you have a chance in this! our family will be rewarded with many lands! think about what will happen to our double fortune !" she says again.
" Is that what you only think about? fortune? family? " I hissed and my mom as she sight " talking to you is useless, anyway, tomorrow all the noble families are invited to have a dinner with the crown prince and the king himself , and I want you to be the one the king will choose, do your best at softening your voice and seducing the crown prince !" she says ' like that is going to happen' i thought to my self in disgust .
-End of flashback-
I sight as tomorrow is today, " not this hairpin.. the other one !" my mother ordered the servants as they dress me up," mother am I too dressed up? " I said taking off a piece off clothing off my shoulder "NO ! this is all part of the plan, and act like a lady when you eat not like an animal!" she says dragging me out.
I looked up at the gates of the castle as they open wide welcoming all of us noble families, and I saw all the other ladies and I shivered, they look so pretty and luxurious and well dressed...
" what are you waiting for? go in" mother says pushing me inside into the huge dining area wherein a short while as we all get seated, the king walked in followed by which I assume is the crown prince, and we all bowed respect, I stole a glance at the prince to find him glaring sharply at everyone, what his problem?.
" Thank you all for coming tonight, here I am with my eldest son, Taekwoon, the crown prince" the king says and the crown prince nodded sitting, argh whats with the poker face, as dinner was served, I stared blankly at the several options of forks and spoons .. and sight in anger " cant they use one tool for everything , they all do the same thing in the end " i whispered taking a random spoon and digging in. in a short while, I look up and felt the crown prince glare at me.
' you little ' i thought and I eyed him straight in the eyes and glared back at him, his eyes widened, but then disturbed as they announced that dinner has ended " already ??" I said frowning and started shoving food as fast as I could on my plate before they could take it away,
" you pig" I heard my mom underneath her breath, suddenly the other ladies enclosed the crown prince and sweet talk their way in, and I roll my eyes getting back to my food." what are you doing ?!GO make sure you show your curves !" my mom says pushing me violently and I stand up "yeah, like you can see anything from this dress !" I said back in disgust " am going out to get some fresh air !" I added and started walking out " YOUR A DISGRACE !" my mother screamed, getting everyone's attention and I freeze in my way as I felt knives striking my back from everyone's piercing eyes.
As I sight turning back with a smirk " going out to have some fresh air from this suffocating place makes me a disgrace? your the one who never thinks about my feelings, all you care about is the fortune, you wouldn't even care if I was tortured to death in front of you !" I said and took off running outside wandering around the huge castle eventually I strarted panting, "this dress is so heavy " I said under my breath and so I took off three useless layers of thick fabric and threw them aside while taking my hair down, taking out all the hair pins 'huh, what a relief' I thought but as I was going to complete my actions in taking a rest, I was disturbed by hearing muttering just around the corner, as I peaked, the voices became clearer " if it was not for the crown prince's status I would not have wasted my time coming here " a female voice spoke followed by another one "he isnt that good looking anyways, plus I heard people say he kills innocent people for fun during his training " the other one said 'what the?' i thought.
