*Steve's POV*
What have I done. She was my first real love and I've lost her forever. Now, she's going to hate me for eternity. How suck does it feel when the person you told everything to doesn't revolve around you anymore. You texted and called them every single day and now there's not one day of their responses to you. It hurts so much.
I couldn't control my temper that day. When the moment she said those unwanted words, I left for home quickly and grabbed the things that were near me including glasses and threw them everywhere. My house was filled with broken pieces of glass. Luckily she wasn't there to see me in that state. She could have been hurt, maybe more than me. I really missed her but I know she'll never come back. And it all because of one person.
My best friend. Liam.
Why the shit you did that to me for? Trying to ruin our relationship? Were you jealous? I freaking knew it. Why haven't I notice this before? You still had feelings for her. I shouldn't have brought you around to interfere us. She doesn't deserve you. But ...
Why does it feel like it's also entirely my fault?
Because it god damn is.

*Liam's POV*
I did what I had to do. His sweet little girlfriend deserves to know.
Marie.
Such beautiful name and it fits with the person so perfectly. I didn't want to ruin their relationship but I thought it was for the best. No, I knew it was for the best. I didn't want Marie to date an asshole.
It all started with a simple girl. Her name was Nina. The best friend of Marie. She's nice but kind of a flirt. Everyone could see that. Marie was totally the opposite of her but they get along pretty well in fact. Both of them treasured each other a lot.
Nina was the first girl who caught our attention but it was especially Steve's attention. He loved her dearly and as you can see, it was love at first sight. I admit, Nina was like a goddess to look at but in fact, I had someone else I had eyes for. It was none other than her best friend herself. Nina introduced her to us the next day. I thought I was in cloud 9 because she was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen. I even thought that she suit to be with me more than with Steve because well, Steve too was a flirt and specially a playboy and Marie doesn't need a guy like him. I would never play with girls feelings.
Anyway, we both eventually got to know each other and became a pack. We weren't in a relationship with each other at that time. Just close friends although we badly do wanted to let them know our true feelings. Steve for Nina and me for Marie. Best friends dating best friends. Cool huh?
You might be wondering, then how the heck Marie got together with Steve and not with me?
Because of our stupid bet. We switched places.
Let me explain. One day, Steve and I went out for a walk and have a chat.
"Hey you know that girl Marie?" Steve suddenly asked.
I got chills just hearing her name, "Erm duh, why?"
Steve somehow hesitated a bit but what he said next shocked me to death, "We're brothers so I have to tell you this honestly. I... think I'm starting to like Marie more than Nina."
I snapped, "No! I don't want anymore girls crying over you and especially not the girl I love! You're not taking her away from me."
"Come on dude, she doesn't even talk to you that much! And I promise I won't hurt her this time," It's sadly true though. Somehow Nina got closer to me instead while Marie goes with Steve.
