(Y/n)'s pov:

I walked upstairs. Two kids were fighting the evildoer lady down there and her clones. When I made the last step the stairs disappeared - only a smooth platform left behind me. Now nobody will come there after me. Cool. My only target was the creation. It was my friend, Paul. I have a gun. I walked up to the table. He was chained to it, his hands cuffed. I guess he was the one screaming for help before. His eyes widered as he saw me.

"Oh, it's kid."
"Are you ok, Paul?"
"Who's Paul?" I was spechlees. Doesn't he remember his own name?
"I mean... can you get me out, please?" his voice was cracking, he was evidently scared.
"Wait, before I'll let you... what happened to you?" I asked as I saw Paul's face and head.
"That's the... the crazy lady. She's wearing the white coat." Paul had something like half head green and gigantic (also green) dog ears attached. On top of his head some messed up hair, he was wearing this weird, black costume and his eyes similar to glass.
"What are you? You look messed up."
"Well... if I'm not Paul then..."
"Who said that you're not?"
"Uh... alright... cool... whatever." he was struggling as I untied the ropes, but I haven't let go yet.

"Are you gonna go crazy on me? Your life now depends on me, so you kinda have to be honest."
"No, I won't." I might be very trusting, but I know Paul wouldn't hunt me. It's still him... but just inside of... this. I let go off the ropes and he sit up.
"Thanks...thank you. Thank you." he said happily, but still frightened. Also his hands were still cuffed.
"Let me try with those handcuffs." I hit one with the grip (handle of a gun) and it just fell off of his hand. The other one I took off similar.
"There you go."
"Thank you. That feels great. What's your name though?" he got off of the table.I was now upset, thinking he will remember...
"Oh, wait, I know that! You're (Y/n)!"
"Well... you got it right, dog." The lady messed up with his memories. He knows he's Paul, but at the same time he doesn't. He's gonna be now like Boris from Bendy and the ink machine, a pawn, follower, a victim.
"Ok, so I gotta get you to safety, before..."
"Just get me out of here!"
"Calm down. Also I should give you a name." if he doesn't like Paul.
"Lady used to call me Hector... kids did the Frankie-stein."
"You wanna be called Frankie, Hector or Paul?"
"Paul?" he said like he heard the name first time.

"I like that." I just turned around to scan the labolatory. Then I saw some jars on the cupboard. There was a skull, hand and something else that almost made me throw up. Also 3 more little bottles with blood, some poison and eye, submerged in dark liquid.
"What happened to this person, dude?"
"He was my predecessor. The lady said he was an inept creation. I bet I was going to be divided apart to these jars too."
"Jeez... but now I'm taking you to safe world." then I took a better look at him only to see a few holes in his jacket. From bullets. He was shot like 3/5 times and he's still alive. He acts like he doesn't even feel the pain. Well... maybe he doesn't at all.
"Thank you, (Y/n)." He said and hugged me.

"Imma go first and you are following me." we both slided down on the platform that used to be stairs before. As I landed on my feet I put my gun up immediatelly.
"Where are you? C'mon, I'd like a kiss of craziness."
"Oh, you wouldn't." Paul whispered. I rolled my eyes at him.
"It's called irony." suddenly we had been thrown to the left and right and over again. Then the daylight boomed out from somewhere. It blinded us. I caught Paul's hand and we ran straight folward suprisingly fast. Then laboratory shows up again and then we heard screams and voices of agony. Paul's face landed in his hands and he was all over shaking from fear. Then a bullet flew right above my head. I turned around and shoot randomly only to hit a gigantic wall.
"Oh no, you're not." I stepped closer to the wall and there were these two kids - Matt and Bryan.

"Where's the evildoer?" I asked.
"Go back to that abyss, girl..." said Matt.
"Or we'll make you do it." said Bryan. This place was changing, as they said, into the abyss. That means this wall was separating us from the freedom.
"Better move, since I have a creation to save"
"I don't think we can allow him into our society."
"He should never exist... It's madness!" as Bryan said 'madness' I put my gun up again.
"Then what are we in this madness?" I shot him with that and automatically made a dodge to not get shot by Matt. I mean that was only issue of luck, but It's better to just allow someone kill you. As I get up from dodge I pressed the barrel to the face in front of me. But it wasn't Matt, it was Paul. I went extremely confused.
"Please, don't kill me." he said with his weak voice, such as at the beginning. I looked down to see Matt, laying on the ground. Paul took him down.
"I'm not planning to. Tnx though." I said as I put the gun down and looked at the wall. It was tough made. I wasn't sure how to get away from there now. Then we heard the lady, her crazy laughter somewhere in this space with us. Paul got a panic attack again. I pointed at the closet, letting him know he has to hide. I pushed his back slightly, guiding him to the hiding spot. I sit behind it. Then our evildoer popped out from the closet in front of us. When she came too close to Paul I jumped from behind it and kicked her in the stomach. She drops her gun and fell. I pressed her to the table by the throat.

"Where's the exit, or I'll beat the shit out of you!"
"HiM. nO hEaRt." she said with mischievous grin on her face.
"IMMA GIVE YOU THE FUCKIN' HEART!" I pushed the table with the lady on it and shot her in the face. Paul came out of the closet.
"Paul, what are you?" he didn't say anything. "Are you a clone of her?"
"Why are you asking for it?"
"Because you don't have a heart." then I got an epiphany. His heart was the key.
"Do you think we can have one heart?" Paul said, looking down at dead lady. I leaned in and ripped the coat of her torso. If we'll get her heart we'll be free. So what? She didn't have a heart - there was a hole. Paul checked behind his collar; he doesn't have a hole, but neither a heartbeat.

Paul's pov:

Then I realised that me and the evildoer have different DNA. Also I realised that NOW we are down the rabbit hole and how could we mistake the wall with an exit? Frickin' hell...! Then something hit me... There was one jar upstairs we haven't checked, bc (Y/n) almost puked at it. It was our only hope. I grabbed her hand and ran into the whiteness again. Everything started to fade in it. (Y/n) just gave up I think and let me guide her. The stairs were back. We ran up and I grabbed the ugliest jar. I took off the lid.
"This is our escape." I dipped my hand in it and handed her a jar. She looked away as she put her hand in it.
"Now I know what is was, I can't believe we haven't checked that." She said. We both felt a meaty heart in the jar. Then whiteness filled up everything.

As whiteness fell down me and (Y/n) were holding hands. They weren't bloody anymore and jar disappeared. We looked downstairs only to see Matthias and Sam being chased by Bryan. They weren't fighting, it was for fun. NERF instead of normal guns. We came back. I put my hand on my chest; my heart was beating and it was on its place. I took of the jacket I had on - there was no bloody stains and no after-shot holes. (Y/n) took the green thingamajig off my head like it was a hat and throw it away. I still had my real hair though. We just survived a nightmare.
"Thanks for this... Paul." she said.
"Thank you, (Y/n)." I said.
