Awakening

As I looked around, it felt like the world was washing away. Just like last time, it all went black. Something was off this time. I could hear someone calling out my name. "Allen...Allen..." A very faint voice cried out my name. It was a voice I knew. The high pitch indicated that it belonged to a female. As I blinked a few times, I could see that a blurred figure stood above me. As a few seconds went by my vision became clearer. "L-Leenalee?" I said as I stared up at the female. She smiled brightly and gave me a warm hug. "Oh Allen it's a good thing that you're okay! I was so worried!" In confusion I looked at Leenalee and said, "What do you mean?" She looked at me strangely and said, "You don't remember?" I shook my head as a reply and she looked at me a bit worried.

"You fell." Leenalee paused and then continued to explain, "You fell off of a cliff in your last mission. You were beaten pretty badly but who could blame you. You ran into two level - four akumas." A bit shocked I tried to process everything. I looked at Leenalee and said, "Leenalee, how long was I out?" "About a two days." She replied. It's a miracle that I survived, but how come I don't recall fighting with the two level - four akumas? I rubbed my stomach and said, "Hey, Leenalee, I'm a bit hungry. Would you like to go get something to eat with me?" She nodded with a smile and helped me get out of the bed. As we walked I stayed quiet remembering the dream I had. Was everything that happened real, or did I somehow make it all up? I wouldn't know.

But even so...

I really do hope, that it was all true.

But then again,

I hope that my mother is still alive.
