Barely Living (Taehyung)

    "Where would YOU like to do?" Mi Jae asked, rolling her eyes. "You are the one who wanted to hang out" she teased, hitting him on the head.
    "Want to go a karaoke bar?" He asked, smiling.
    "Whatever, as long as I get drunk. You buy." Said Mi Jae grabbing her purse on her cabinet through the window.
    "Alright" Taehyung smiled, and began to walk into town.
    Once Taehyung and Mi Jae entered the Karaoke bar, the needed to show their "ID's" Mi Jae had hers from family events. They took their seats, and waited for the server to bring them the menu. There weren't a ton of people in the cafe, only an older couple, a mid-aged couple, and a teenaged group of girls obviously only fifteen. After a few minutes of very awkward conversation, the server entered and they ordered their drinks and food. Once Mi Jae had more than a few drinks, she took the mic and began to sing. Her voice was amazing, thought Taehyung. The song was beautifully toned, she looked beautiful under the lights of the karaoke bar. She smiled through the whole thing like an idiot, but it was genuine, and not fake.
    Taehyung ran up to the stage and grabbed the second mic.
    "Mi Jae" Taehyung said "Let's sing a duet"
    "What should we sing?" He asked looking at her and smiling.
    "How about someone like you?" He asked her, she smiled.
    "Its one of my favorite English songs" Said Mi Jae smiling.
They sang the song in beautiful harmony, their voices  were very fit for each other. The older couple clapped for them, and the younger teens smiled, the mid aged people gazed upon how good they were. When the song was finished, Mi Jae and Taehyung walked back to their seats. The older couple walked up to them. Mi Jae and Taehyung bowed to them and stood quietly.

"Are you two dating?" Asked the old man smiling his battered teeth. Taeyhyung looked at Mi Jae lovingly. He grabbed her hand. Their hands interlocked, and Mi Jae gasped in disbelief. She could not believe he just did that. She faked a smile, and went along with it. She slightly kicked his calf, maybe a little too hard, but she didn't care.
"How long?" Asked the old woman happily.
"Four mouths" Said Taehyung smiling widely
"So cute, We just wanted to say that you guys sang that really well!" Said the older man, still in awe
"Thank you, grandmother, and grandfather" Bowed Taehyung and Mi Jae
"Alright, have a great time we need to leave now" said the grandmother bowing
    The grandmother and grandfather left, and taehyung and Mi Jae took a seat. Mi Jae took a drink, and jabbed Taehyung in the side.
    "Aaaaaaaaaannnnnddd that's what you get for calling me your girlfriend." Said Mi Jae smiling
    "It was worth it" Said Taehyung as he took a drink, drinking all of it down.
    Mi Jae choked on her soju, almost spitting it everywhere. She poured some more into the glass and kept drinking. They kept talking more and more, until Mi Jae was REALLY drunk.
    "Taehyunnnggggieeeee" Slurred Mi Jae "I thiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnkkk iiii l-like you" Hiccuped Mi Jae
    Taehyung looked at Mi Jae, concerned.
    "Mi Jae, are you drunk?" Asked Taehyung
    "Noooooooo T-ttaehyungieeeee oooppaaa" Mi Jae slurred placing her finger on Taehyung's lips.
    "I'm sooo t-tireeeerrrreeed" Yawned Mi Jae
    Taehyung placed Mi Jae's head on his shoulder.
    "I-i cuuuuutt m-more when you l-left" Stuttered Mi Jae
    "Why did you do that?" Taehyung asked looking at Mi Jae very concerned
    "B-because you're g-going to l-leave me like they d-did" Mi Jae yawned
    "Like who did?" Taehyung sat up, shaking Mi Jae.
    "L-le" Said Mi Jae falling asleep.
    Taehyung paid for the bill, and watched Mi Jae sleep. He just noticed how beautiful she was. His beated faster, and the world seemed to stop. He picked Mi Jae up bridal style and carried her all the way back to her house, laying her in her bed and grabbing the rest of the razors from the cabinet. He wrote a little note. He watched her sleep, for a few minutes and then lightly kissed her on the forehead. He shut her window, and walked home thinking about the next day.
