"So Archie, truth or dare?" asked Veronica. The bottle had stopped pointing directly at him.

Shoot, Archie thought. If he said truth, Veronica would definetly find the most awkward question.  "Dare!" he said, hoping it wouldn't turn out too bad. Veronica could be cruel in these games. She looked around the room, thinking. Jughead, Betty and Kevin were looking at her, waiting for what she might think of.

"Kiss.." she paused, thinking, "Jughead!"

Both, Jughead and Archie looked at each other, shock written on their faces. But Archie couldn't deny that it was not only shock he was feeling. Maybe it was the alcohol they had consumed earlier  tonight, but Archie couldn't help but wonder how it would feel like to kiss Jughead.

Everyone was still staring at the both of them, and before the silence could get too awkward Veronica clapped her hands together: "Well, have fun," she said, then started pushing everyone but Archie and Jughead out of the room. They were alone. Archie drove his hand through his hair and Jughead laughed nervously.

"I mean.. we don't have to.. if you don't want to.. I mean.." Archie tried unsuccessfully to kill the awkwardness of the moment. Jughead looked at the ground, then directly into Archies eyes. Archie moved closer to him, never breaking the eye contact between them. Now there were just inches between their faces... between their lips. When Jughead then moved his head closer, Archie closed the rest of the distance between them. He hesitated, for a short moment.

Their lips touched. Jugheads lips were soft and warm. It was a short kiss. Archie wanted more and put his hand at the back of Jugheads  head to pull him into another Kiss. Jughead didn't resist. This time they kissed longer, neither of them wanted to end the moment. But then the door opened and before they could pull apart Veronica had already burst into laughter. The others were giggling behind their hands and Bettys face just showed pure shock.

Veronica walked towards them and said, still laughing: "Wow, I never thought you guys would actually do that! That was great!" Archie moved away from Jughead. He couldn't even look at him. He felt so embarrassed! Betty needed another five minutes to calm down. Archie couldn't blame her. They continued playing for some time, Archie still avoiding Jugheads eyes, but soon they all went to bed. They were staying at Veronica, so Archie and Jughead weren't able to talk privately until the next morning.
