It was one am. The dorms were separated, so she requested that Henry and her lay on a couch in the library, cuz it was mutually known that she needed someone to hold.
They hadn't talked since they left her parents, but Henry had eaten a little cuz he's a relatable pig.
Ali had no appetite and no urge to say a word, until she, of course, did. "Henry? You awake," she asked gently.
He sat her up and kissed her, "are you alright?"
"Debatable."
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"No, but we should talk to Newt, he's been spamming me cuz apparently mom told him about it."
"We'll tell him in class tomorrow, don't worry."
"Okay," she replied tiredly.
"Anything else?" Henry said kindly.
She kissed him, "I'm sorry, Henry."
"What for? You didn't do anything."
"Never mind," she said, fixing her pants leg. "Can we just cuddle?"
"Of course, princess," he smiled. "What type of cuddle?"
"I think you know," she smiles softly, though she was surprised the words came out in such a slick manner.
