As class dragged on I kept feeling eyes on me, I ignored it of course. I knew exactly who was looking without having to turn my head. I could just feel him just watching me whenever he wasn't helping anyone with their work or talking to the teacher. I tried paying attention to Mrs. Pocks but it the staring was starting to get creepy and annoying. I could barely hear what she was saying. Like it was beckoning me to look. Man, why can't he look somewhere else.

Finally giving up the attempt to pay attention to her I turned my head straight at him, sure enough he was staring at me. As he looked into my eyes, it felt as if he was looking into my soul. Trying to find something that he wants to know, kind of like he was trying to read my mind or something. It was starting to bother me.

As I too looked into his eyes I could see three emotions; sadness, regret, and love? Wait that can't be right. He doesn't know me that well. He can't possibly love me. I wonder why he had sadness and regret held there too. Finally shaking my head to get those thoughts out I looked up at the teacher again.

After a few more minutes the bell rang. Thank god I thought as I packed up my stuff to leave. As I was walking to the door to get out I noticed him standing there and no one else in here. When I went to walk by he grabs me by my arm to stop me. I looked up to see what he wanted now.

"We need to talk." Were the first out his mouth.

" Alright?" I say with a confused look.

"Umm, I don't know how to say this...."

"Well whatever it is, please just say it so I can get to class."

"Alright, well Jayne you're my mate." He paused for second looking at me to see what my reaction was. I just stared with my eyebrow raised. Repeating in my head what he just said. Trying to let it click. Finally after some time..

"I can't have you as my mate. I'm not rejecting you it's just there's some stuff I need to take care of before we accept each other as mates."

I just look at him for a second. Thinking about everything. When I finally spoke..

I ask " What stuff?"

"Pack business"

"Really that's the lame excuse I get."

"I'm sorry I can't tell you more than that"

"Fine if you don't want to be with me or me as your mate than please just reject me."

"I don't want to. I want to wait til everything is taken care of."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll see ya around."

As I walked off I heard him hollering my name. I just ignored it and walked out the school doors into the woods. I can't keep dealing with this BS from everyone. I need out. I don't want to be here anymore. Just then a black figure came into view. I gasped.

"Hello my dear daughter. Are you ready to come home?" It said
