Summary
Jayne is not a normal she-wolf, she can't shift. She's hiding something pretty big from her family/pack members. She doesn't want the bullying to become worse if they found out. Jayne was adopted by the Marks, her older brother, Alex, tries to protect her the best he can. In other words only when he sees them in action but that's barely any help because he really doesn't come around much.
Almost every night when she goes to sleep she dreams the same dream. A man in dark clothing speaks to her. Telling her that the time has almost come, that she must be prepared when it comes. Every so often he will call her his daughter. But that's weird because she has always been told that her real parents died when she was little.
In this book Jayne will find her mate but it doesn't turn out like she wants or was hoping. She runs from the only people/pack she has ever none. She discovers the truth about her parentage and where she really belongs. She says she'll never go back but what she doesn't know is fate has something different planned for her.
