Chapter one
The start
I spent my day almost the same everyday. Wake up, get dressed, throw my hair up, ride with Abby over to our aunts house, swim, play sports lay in the sun and txt on my phone. But that was summer. Tonight the day before the first day of school I knew that tomorrow my world would totally change. For one I didn't have Alexander, Monaco, Julian, Ryder, John, or Tristan. I didn't have my now 7th grade friends. I had to be them now and be the ones who ruled the school. So maybe I was a little frighten but I knew that this day would always come. It already did down at my elementary school in 4th grade but that is a story that makes me cry every time I find a away to tell it. Anyways I have just found out my bestie for the past 6years (it will be 7 years in October) was in my class, Lin. Also my cousin Elizabeth was in my class too. Most importantly my best fiend since pre-k. Nine years we have been friends but haven't talked a ton, Michael. Also my friend Gwyndline. We had all met her last year. As scared as I was, I was ready.
I woke up that morning at around 9:00. Abby and I got dressed and walked down stairs. We ate our dunkin that we only got on Sundays but today was the last day of summer so we had to celebrate all day. We ate out donuts and hopped on our bikes and rode over to our aunts house. Our aunt didn't have kids. We were two of seven. (Four girls three boys). We had to get away sometimes. We would swim, lay on the play house roof and get our last minute tans. Eat lunch chill out. Eat Ice cream at the pool. Go on the cool picnic swing and take selfies.
We would laugh and swing. Then we talked about our summer and listed all the stuff we did together this summer.
-rode our bikes everyday
-had about seven basement sleepovers (where we stay up all night and sleep down in the basement)
-played lax
-played soccer
-went camping
-saw the Niagara Falls
-won all but 1 soccer game this season
-had an amazing scoring and assisting record this season.
-made it till 2:00 in the morning before crashing
-only fell off our bikes twice
-made it up Ives hill
-created 6 new games to play.
-hung out just about everyday
-ate a whole carton of Ice cream
-laughed so hard that we rolled on tables
-tye died t-shirts
-made a cake and cupcakes without burning anything
-starting new traditions with a sister who also fills the spot of my best friend who is amazing
"It's going to suck not going to the same schools. Especially after we had this epic summer together" I said to Abby. Abby would go to the catholic school behind our house and I would go to the public school before our house.
"I know. But at least we will see each other still. Think about it you probably won't see Maddison at all." She says
"I know. So bomb fire tonight and swim until 10:00. This is our last chance to make summer really count. Let's hope Jakob doesn't show up to ruin it." I say answering her
"Wait!!! you invited him?" she asks censored.
"No but if he tags along with Reagen and Taylor it will bad."
"Better hope not."
"I know" I say and then we head inside and shower. We head home and get ready for the party.
That night everything went great. We swam till ten. Went to bed at 12:00. Abby left for school around 7:15. I left around 8:10. That day was great too. Until I met eyes with Jaiden. His eyes followed me all the way out the door and into the street where I walked home to see Abby about her day. Maybe I was ready to move on from Alexander (my bestie who is a guy who asked me out and I didn't know what to say). I told Abby about my whole day. And later on in the next couple days and weeks my left changed completely.
