Wyatt

Today was the day that things will change, I wasn't very fond of things changing. But I reckon that this will be the good type of change. Today is the day that I "moved" into my new "home" which I'll be staying in for the next, I don't know, year maybe? Might be less, but for now I'm just going to say a year.

It was almost four o'clock in the afternoon when I had pulled up the the large two story 'home'. There were no other cars in the drive way or in front of the house, but the front door was open ajar signaling that I was not the only one here.

My mother to the left of me in the drivers seat had sighed deeply as she looked at me, I could only see her in the corner of my eyes. I was too focused on observing the house in front of my car. "Well we're here. You're lucky. It's pretty nice eh?" She said bumping me with her elbow.

"I guess...." I said sadly, I knew I was going to miss her.

"Hey don't worry. You'll have lots of company and I'm sure you'll make tons of new friends." She told me reassuringly.

I said nothing. I just shrugged and looked down at my hands on my lap, picking at my nails.

"Well, security said that my car can't be out here for long. So, it's time. I love you so much and I hope you have so much fun! I'll call you every night and I want to here how your days are going." She said reassuring me again, but this time more meaning in her voice. I couldn't help but smile at her words.

I said my goodbyes to my mother as I got my two bags of luggage out of the trunk of her car and walked up the path leading to the front door.

Maybe she's right, maybe it won't go bad.

I started to lift my hand to push open the door until a girl had opened it before me. She was shorter than me, and had light eyes and short hair.

She smiled brightly after she had smacked her gum, "Hi, I'm Sophia. Also known as, Beverly Marsh" she said to me excitingly.

"I'm Wyatt. I'm playing Stanley." I exclaimed to  her as I shook her hand.

Soon after a few awkward moments of silence between me and Sophia, we had both heard a childish sounding voice yell from inside the house.

"ILL GET YOU BACK FOR THAT, YOU ASS TWAT!"

I looked at Sophia puzzled. She could tell I was confused, she looked amused. She shook her head and chuckled. "Jack...." she said with no explanation at all.

I stepped inside and saw three boys sitting on the couch, they all greeted me.(Finn Wolfhard, Jeremy Ray Taylor, and Chosen Jacobs) We all got ourselves introduced and so far everyone was as friendly as I had unsuspected.

I went off and looked more around the house, I had entered another large room which had appeared as the kitchen. Coming from the right of me, I heard sounds of what sounded like a scooter rolling on a sidewalk. I looked over and saw two boys more boys on their skateboards. One was shorter and had dark hair. And the other was talk and had shorter, slightly lighter colored hair. Once I glanced at the taller boy my heart couldn't help but skip a beat, and my stomach weirdly had butterflies.

"Hell yeah! He's here finally!" The shorter boy said as he hopped off his skateboard, holding out his hand to greet me. As did the taller one, not hold out his hand- but he as well jumped off of his skateboard.

"I'm Jack," The shorter boy said as he pointed to himself, then he pointed to the taller boy. "And this shit face right here is Jaeden." He finished, sounding less amused at the last half of the sentence.

"You must be Stan," Jaeden said to me smiling and holding out his hand. I said nothing, my stomach turned and my heart started to beat faster, and my palms started to sweat. I quickly wiped my hand on the side of my shorts to dry it, and I slowly shook his hand.

"It's W-Wyatt a-actually" I said hesitantly.

Jaeden chuckled, "Duh, but Stan is your characters name of course."  He said as he blushed.

Wow, I feel like an idiot right now. I scoffed, "Oh y-yeah haha- it's nice to meet both of you." I said grinning wider.

"You too noodle head," Jack said as he winked at me.

Jaeden rolled his eyes, "Jack, he just got here and you're already bullying him."

"Aye, you got here like what, two hours ago? And I call you many names. I have no filter" Jack protested, throwing his arms up.

We all laughed and had a nice ongoing conversation after that. Then Jacks name was being called by Finn, so he scurried off to the other room. He left Jaeden and I alone.

I didn't know what to do or what too say, I felt like my life was going to end if I did something wrong.

"So Wyatt, have a girlfriend?" He asked, as he raised his eyebrow.

"Uhh no- and you?" I told him quickly, attempting to avoid the explanation on why I hadn't had a girlfriend as much as possible.

"At one point. Not anymore. How come you don't have one?" He asked me, making eye contact with me and smirking.

I had just scratched the back of my head, and made it look like I was really thinking about the question. When really- I already knew the answer. I'm asexual. "Just not interested I guess," I told him with a shrug.

He then stepped off of his skateboard carefully, looking curious. He smirked again as his cheeks turned into a light shade of pink. "What are you interested then in?" He asked me, as he stepped awfully close to me.

I could feel his breath. My heart started to ache as I started to sweat even more.

"Uh- um- I uhh-" I stuttered nervously, until I noticed Jaeden leaning in closer, and slowly.

"Hold on, hold on stay right there guys. I just gotta take a photo of this." A voice said to the left of me, coming from the doorway. It had broken our silence.

"Oh my god!" Jaeden muttered under his breath in annoyance, as he stepped away from me.

"What are you motherfuckers doing?" Jack said loudly as he chuckled loudly.

"What do you need Jack?" Jaeden asked annoyed, rolling his eyes once more.

"Andy is calling an uber for us to come and pick us up."

"For?" I asked puzzled.

"For dinner dumbass," Chosen said loudly as he entered the dining room, and grabbing his coat off of the chair.

He then placed his hand onto my shoulder, "Just kidding your not a dumbass, but the car has actually been waiting outside for about five minutes now so we should go." He told us, finally breaking the awkwardness in the room.

A/N: haha this lowkey sucks whoops. But it'll get more interesting next chapter I PROMISEEEE
