"Hey Bell, which one?" I held up two separate mini dresses to my chest and did stupid poses
Bella laughed "I like both so don't ask me."
I groaned "Fine I'll go ask my brother."
I walked down the hall and knocked lightly on his door
"Ash, can I come in?"
I heard some shuffling behind the door before meeting my brother face to face
"Of course T , I'm just talking to cthe boys so don't mind them." he smiled and took a seat on his chair "What's up?"
"Which one?" I again repeated the process and help the dresses to my chest.
"I totally say the left one" said one of the boys on the screen
"Yes I agree with Mikey, totally fits your body." Luke smirked
Ashton shot a glare at Luke before looking at me and nodding "Yeah go with the left one."
I smiled and waved to the boys on the screen "thanks boys, thanks Ash, see y'all later."
I walked out and bit my lip, hard. I've had the biggest crush on Luke forever and he just completely complimented me. I ran down the hall back to my room where Bella, Cassi, Anna, and Abby laid across my bedroom floor
"So, which one?" Bella smiled
"Well, Luke, Mikey, and Ash said left, so I guess left."
Cassi gasped "You talked to Luke without freaking out!" she joked and I kicked her in the side
"Yes I did, thank you."
Cassi grabbed her phone and flicked it on "Tay you're party is starting soon we should probably get going."
Seconds after her the doorbell rang through the house
Anna smirked knowing exactly who was at the door. They all grabbed my arms and forced me to the door. I opened to be greeted by Luke leaning in the doorway.
"Took my advice I see." Luke chuckled
"Actually it was my advice but nice try." Mikey rolled his eyes and smiled at me
"Oh please both you shut up. Ash is upstairs."
"Thanks babes." calum winked
Luke stopped and turned on his heels "Calum, really? Have more respect." Luke stared daggers into Calum.
"Well..." Ashton surprised us all as he walked in behind us "The dress looks good sis. C'mon guys, the girls have to get ready for Tay's party."
"Wait," Luke laughed "you know Tay, we're all going to Michael's house tonight to celebrate my birthday, why don't you just have yours there as well?"
I looked at Ashton to see his reaction but all he did was look at his feet. I took a few steps closer to Luke.
"Should I now Hemming?" I laughed
"I'm thinking you should." he bit his lip and winked making me weak in my knees
"Okay, fine. I'll be there."
"Good, can't wait."
Everyone but Ash headed upstairs and he looked at me and spoke with a stern voice "If I see you at that party tonight I swear Taylor you are so-"
"What, grounded?" I sighed "Ashton you're not our parents, you're my brother okay? I'm a big girl I can take care of myself."
"There's gonna be alcohol and assholes all over. You're also underage."
"We all are Ashton, again I'm a big girl."
He shrugged "all I ever try to do is look out for you, but if you want to do this go ahead." he turned around and didn't speak another word.
By midnight the boys were ready to head out to Michael's and start the party. I allowed the girls to dig in my closet and find anything they wanted to where as I stared at a picture of Luke and I from our 16th birthday. It felt like forever since we were that close, that young. A heavy knock came from my door
"Come in."
Luke appeared through the crack "You girls need a ride?" he looked me up and down and cleared his throat "T, you have a leather jacket at all?"
I looked at him puzzled "None in good shape, why?"
He stepped on and removed his jacket from his shoulders and wrapped it around me "I think this fits well, you seemed to be missing something."
My face grew hot "Thank you Luke, but I think the girls and I will arrive later, we have a few more thing to do before we can leave." I smiled sheepishly and looked at my feet
"Of course, see ya there princess." he winked and chuckled closing the door behind him.
Eventually we all got the courage and felt good enough about our selves that we were able to leave and head to Michael's. I always did forget how large Michael's house really was. A grand entrance the led to a staircase over looking the family room that had been emptied of furniture and filled with sweaty, drunk teenagers. I scanned the room one last time before locking eyes with Luke. I walked down the stairs and linked arms with him
"You look great Tay."
"As do you Hemmings."
