I threw myself on my comfy bed with my low battery tablet beside me. "I'm going to sleep now." I excitedly whispered to myself since I can finally get some sleep from gaming for the past few hours.
A beam of sunlight struck on my face where its source is from the window. "Oh, the Sun."
"I forgot to sleep again," I uttered a tsk and hugged my pillow, burying my face in despair. The beam of sunlight burned my face making me wrap myself in my blanket.
The moment when I was about to be in deep sleep, was the moment my older sister slammed my door open, yelling, "Zee! You insolent imp! Get your a** up here and go meet your friend downstairs."
I jolted for a second before tiringly opened my eyes and shifted to her direction. I could feel tears from my eyes as I yawned. "Friend? I don't have one-"
"Get your a** up here I said!" My sister, Zyka shouted for the second time. So deafening. I grunted and lightly tossed my neck pillow at her. I heard the impact of the pillow. It was not the sound I was expecting.
I glanced at her before rolling down from the bed and bumping my head on the floor where it was fatal. She positioned the neck pillow up, her other hand aiming at me. "No, don't! That's my favorite cat neck pillow!" I cried raising both hands trying to persuade her but, I knew I couldn't.
She brutally threw the neck pillow, aiming for my head, where I was lucky enough to evade. "I'm telling grandma about your lazy a**--" She yelled, another deafening one, this time it's louder than the other one. She turned back and was about to take a step when Grandma, standing like a mannequin wearing her emotionless expression, was in front of her.
"Zee, your childhood friend Lian is here to visit you," said Grandma in a calming tone. Zyka frowned. "Grandma, why are you always taking it easy on her? How will she learn?," complained Zyka. She then let out an angry groan.
"That won't do." Our grandma answered and left her position.
Zyka glared at me for a moment before calming down. "Seriously?," murmured Zyka under her breath.
A tall and handsome guy entered my gorgeously untidy room and leaned by the door. "Hey Zee, I heard your friend is here, for real?" The Eldest, my brother, Chadler, inserted in our conversation with his typical emotionless expression. "I think you should go now."
I nodded and grinned from ear to ear, not minding the weight of my eyes that could shut any time. Zyka let out an exhausting whistle before exiting my room with Chadler, who left a glance before vanishing from my sight.
The temptation that my bed produces was extremely overwhelming, causing me to lie down and wrap myself on my cozy blanket again. Sleeping could never be this good.
For the second time I was about to sleep, someone slammed my door open, making me jolt again. Geez, that's the second time this morning, what's worse, it disturbs my eternal slumber.
"Zee! Are you ill? Are you alright?! Why didn't you attend school?" Lian barged in my room, her face resembling like she just emerged from hell.
Zyka was behind her, holding her arms back that might scrape my dear skin. "Calm down, Lian. She's fine," said Zyka worryingly, trying to persuade Lian who finally calmed down. She let out a tender smile. At this moment, the demon that came from hell suddenly transformed into an angel.
"Let's go to Leena's house! I haven't seen her in a few months!" Lian frantically screamed where at any moment, my eardrums would explode. I mumbled some curse words before getting up from my bed and then walked towards the bathroom of my bedroom when suddenly, I almost tripped and fell by a f*cking shoe.
