The next day flew past pretty fast. I got to school, went to all my classes, had lunch, had my last classes, and now I'm here. Here as in at the local diner. Me and the gang come here every Thursday after school for snacks and laughs. I guess you could say its where the fun happens. You see at school we're all model students, but as soon as that last bell rings we like to make trouble. At school we're known as the models but out here in the real world we're considered misfits. Hard to believe right? Wrong. We work hard and play hard. You don't get anywhere in life without both. "Um, excuse me I didn't order this" I exclaim as a young 20 or something year old waiter places a steaming hot cup of coffee in front of me. "I know. It's from that dude over there" he says pointing to the table in the far corner occupied by a group of teens. Well not just any teens the other half of the misfits. My boyfriend to be precise. Looking down I notice something scribbled on the napkin. Sliding it out from underneath my coffee I read:
Hey beautiful,
Meet me outside when your finished.
~ Rylan xx
P.s. I'll be waiting ;)
Laughing to myself I look back over to him and nod my head. He is so cute. Halfway through my coffee I see Rylan and his table get up and leave, but not before he throws me a quick wink as he walks out the door. Slowly I finish off the rest of my coffee before grabbing my stuff, saying my goodbyes and walking out. As I begin to walk past the little alleyway behind the diner I feel to arms snake their way around my waist pulling me into the alley and flesh against a very muscled body. "Hey Babe" Rylan whispers seductively in my ear before turning me around in his arms. "Hey" I say as I give him a quick peck on his lips. "I got you something" he says shyly as he reaches into his back pocket and pulls out a long blue velvet box. "I didn't know how else to do this... So I got you this" he says again as he opens up the velvet box, reveling a long silver chain with a crystal embedded love heart locket attached to it and the words 'You stole my heart' etched into it. "Oh mi" I say a little breathless as tears start to prick at my eyes. "It's beautiful" I eventually manage to say while he puts it around my neck. "I got it made especially for you...um well... Because I love you, and I don't want to lose you" he says as tear drops fall down his cheeks followed by my own. "I love you too" I say before wrapping my arms around his neck and giving him a kiss. Pulling apart for air, I say "But just because you said the L word doesn't mean I'm gonna sleep with you. At least not until I'm ready" this causes a small laugh to escape him before he pulls me in for another kiss and says "I don't expect you too. I'm happy to wait until your ready, and you know that. I'm not leaving you. Especially over something as little as that".
