Rylan's POV:
The next few weeks passed by incredibly slow. Police asking questions, but finding out nothing at all. Searches going on, without any leads. It's all crazy really. It's like the whole town has come to a standstill. No one daring to speak about what happened. No more news about Brooklyn's where-abouts. Nothing.... Until today.
Pulling into school I notice the familiar flashing lights of the black and white police cars lined up one by one.
"Rylan" Harmony cries as she runs up to me, as pale as a ghost and collapses into my side. "Hey, what's going on?" I question pulling her away from me so I can see her face. "T-t-t-they f-f-found s-something" she manages to stutter out between sobs. My eyes widen. "What did they find?" I ask swallowing the lump that's risen in my throat. "L-l-locker room" she stutters out before collapsing on the ground in front of me with her head in her hands. "I'll be back in a bit" I say to her as I take off in the direction of the girls' locker room. My heart rate picks up as I round the corner and stop dead in front of the girls' locker room door, scared of what might be on the other side. I quickly pluck up the courage and push the door open, only to be met with the smell of blood and about 20 police officers, all standing in front of what looks to be the big mirror. Every change room has one. Slowly walking up behind the officers, I finally see what all the fuss is about. Right there, on the mirror, written in blood, are the words;
THE MORE YOU LOOK
THE HARDER IT BECOMES TO BREATH
