This place it's so... peaceful. It's like...everything is on stand still. It's magical...
Rylan's POV:
When I woke up this morning I couldn't help but feel...out of place. Like something was missing. I wasn't sure what but I knew there was something. Walking into class this morning my suspicions seem to increase. That one seat that always catches my eye in the last row by the window, is vacant. Brooklyn's seat. Where is she? I know she can't be sick because she'd let me know. Something's wrong, I can feel it. Taking my seat on the opposite side of the classroom I continue to stare at her seat. "Attention Please Class" Mrs.Berry says with a cough from the front of the class. Not bothering to turn and look at her I wait to hear what she's got to say. "I have just been informed that, one of our classmates has gone missing" she announces loud and clear. I gulp, frantically looking around for any other empty seats. But no there's only one seat that's vacant. Brooklyns. No No No. This must be some kind of joke. She can't be missing. I saw her yesterday. We texted last night. Looking to the front of the class I see two officers walk in. Please?! This can not be happening. "Students this is Detective. Mane, and sergeant. Jerome Nicks from Skyx County Police Department. They are here to ask each of you some questions" Mrs.Berry introduces the officers before picking the first student to go out and get questioned. This is nuts. I must be having a nightmare. This cannot be real.
After what felt like days it was finally my turn to be interrogated. Walking into the empty classroom they had set up I sat down in the seat across from the officers. "So... Mr. Jones is it?" Detective. Mane questions, looking at his papers to double check. "Yes, sir" I say as I fold my arms in front of me to stop them from shaking. "Would you like to tell me the relations between you and Miss.Donalds?" he says as he looks straight at me. Looking away I answer "She's my girlfriend". Still looking away I try and hold back the tears that are starting to cloud my vision. "I see. And this relationship, was it a good relationship?" he asks causing me to stop breathing for a second. Was? What's that suppose to mean? "Not was, is a good relationship" I sate turning back to face the officers. "Right my apologies" he says as he sifts through more paper work. After a few more questions and a few more tears, the questioning was finally over and I was free to go home. Well once school has finished.
