Zac walked over to the base and he noticed how small it was. His palms went sweaty and he felt himself shake in nervousness. Guns were stored on racks across the walls with the knives. On the floor boxes were filled to the brim with first aid kits. Jacob was stood in a amaze at all of the guns and a smile covered his face. Eve was looking around nervously and Zac could tell that something was wrong with her.
"Hey," Zac said walking up to her.
"Oh Hi," Eve replied.
"What is the matter?" Zac asked looking at her worried.
"Oh, nothing why would something be the matter," Eve said laughing quietly.
"Hey Eve I know that something is wrong with you. I have been your friends for years now. I know when something is wrong with you," Zac said getting Eve to look up.
"Zac. I am scared. What if I never leave this place? What if I die Zac? What if I die?" Eve said hiding the tears that were trying to make their way down her face.
"You'll be fine. Trust me," Zac replied hugging her.
They all were took around being shown the base and where everything is stored. It was all fine until a man ran into the entrance screaming in pain.
"Agh!!" The man screamed as he started running.
They all looked around in shock and the man ran up to him.
"Boss!" The man screamed as he held his shoulder.
"What is it Ben!" The shouted running up to him.
"Dave, They are coming from the east and they are not stopping." He managed to get out and blood trickled through his fingers.
"Okay Medics! I need this man cleaned up and saved now!" Dave said as two people took Ben away.
The whole group of teens looked at each other shocked, Zac didn't expect it to be as bad as it was. Now the whole groups lives were on the line. Zac stood there froze at the back of the others until he felt someone hold his hand. He looked up from the ground and he saw Eve smiling.
"We're going to make it Zac. Trust me," She smiled and stopped holding his hand.
Murmurs swept through the crowd of people, who had just been the of audience to the series of events that had held their eyes.
"We move out now! Grab as many weapons as possible and head east!" Dave shouted.
Everyone ran to the gun racks and the group of teens followed suit. They all grabbed guns and then left the building heading east. Everyone was out now and gun shots rang though the air. People fell to the floor clutching onto their bodies as if in hope to stay alive. The horror struck Zac's eyes like no other fear. He ran and shot forward avoiding his allies. The bombs left a ring in his ears that ran strait through to his skull.
A bomb exploded close to Zac and he had no time to react. He flew through the air and then landed on the rock covered floor.
Everything went black.
