backstory; in around fourth-fifth grade, Jay's parents fought constantly, more and more everyday. And on top of that, she has an older, drug addicted brother that rarely comes home. Jay's mother was cheating on her husband and everyone knew. They soon got a divorce and the family broke even more. Her dead beet dad had custody over her and Jay's mother died a year later. That must have been the breaking point. No one in the family is in touch, Jay's brother is god knows where and Jay's father, he's gone. As of now, Jay lives in a trailer park where her mother had once lived. She sent her brother the address, even though she knew he wouldn't visit, it's still worth it.
