delilah often is pretty clueless and dense. though, it truly isn't her fault. she didn't have the best education until she entered high school. she's proud of who she is and will stick up for herself; and her friends when she needs. even though, she doesn't have many friends. but that hasn't changed her. she will not let anyone or anything change her. other than that, she's perky and loves to play around. she gets off topic a lot and she rambles, too.

backstory;
delilah was raised by her older brother most of her life. though he was not much older than her. 5 years, to be exact.
delilah's mother had took care of them until she was 3. she then took her life away jumping off of a cliff. as for her father, the man was forced to take them in. that was until, he gave them away when delilah turned 8.
during the years delilah and her brother lived with their father; they went to low rated, free schools. although, their father rarely woke them up for school -they had no alarm clocks- they were either late or didn't go. unless sometimes, they stayed up until it was time to go to school.
when delilah turned 8, her father could no longer take it. he first gave delilah away and offered for her brother to stay, but he would not stay without his sister. delilah's brother told one of his teachers about this. do you know what the teacher did for them?

she gave them her barn. she let two children stay and sleep in her barn. she did invite them inside for a home cooked meal every once in a while. she gave them clothes. they lived in that barn until delilah's brother turned 16. he got a job and they moved into a small apartment. and delilah worked very hard. she loved her brother. she was going to repay him one day.

scenario; delilah always tries her hardest in school. still, she had adhd which held her back quite a bit. she was easily distracted and sometimes had trouble paying attention or staying awake. that never stopped her, though.
you guys had talked a few times. not much. she made you laugh. she'd catch you staring a few times and she'd flash a smile.
one day, you had got detention and she was staying after school. or maybe it was detention as well.
you sat in the front row, a perfect view of the hallway.
you had been dozing off until you noticed delilah across the hall. what was she doing? you wondered.
