Dimming Down A Star

Early this morning when the entire Castillo house was having breakfast, the get a guest to join. Angie had just landed last night back into Buenos Aires after having a strong discussion with her job in France. Things did not end well. 

To hear the lie that someone spread back to the company she was songwriting for she felt like this was a sign. Her mind was more preoccupied with helping the studio than to be doing her dream job. It was almost like Antonio whispering in her ear that maybe this was not where Angie needed to be. Maybe her dream job was to teach kids about music and not necessarily her being in the industry herself. 

Coming back however was not in the plans for Priscilla. To think she'd just temporarily got Angie away from German, now she has permanently made her stay. That morning she wanted to inform German about Gregorio's concern when looking at the loans Antonio didn't pay off. Rushing German out to the studio already. 

The others finish their morning breakfast before leaving too. For Ludmilla she had a different schedule than the everyone else. Today she was certain that her career as a Mega-Star will begin.

Just then the panel of U-Mix scouts who are now deliberating on whether Ludmilla should be an upcoming U-Mix artist. They did find the song a lot different then what they've already heard from her, maybe that is what will save her this time. 

After their deliberation they send Marrotti to tell her the news.

"Ludmilla." [Marrotti]

"Yes, Marrotti.." [Ludmilla]

"U-Mix has made their decision and me personally, I am surprised to say this. Are you ready to become an active recording artist for U-Mix?" [Marrotti]

"Yes! Yes! Absolutely yes!" [Ludmilla]

"Good, U-Mix executives are developing your contract now. I will need you to come back around 2:30 P.M. to not only sign your contract but to begin recording that song for your first single. Congratulations, you've made it." [Marrotti]

"Thank you, thank you. I promise I won't let you down, but are they sure that this song should be my first single. What about Destined to Shine? I mean the meaning of it is the certainty of becoming a star, a celebrity. Shouldn't that represent more of the beginning of my fame?" [Ludmilla]

"We will include that song on your first album, but U-Mix is certain that the song you'd just performed will be the one to develop your audience. They have faith in this song, now you need to have faith in U-Mix. Remember, 2:30 P.M., don't be late." [Marrotti]

The thing is Ludmilla does not want Violetta to know she'd stole her song just yet. Eventually the truth will come out, but knowing this information now can jeopardize her chances with U-Mix. Imagine that Violetta ends up reporting on Ludmilla to U-Mix and then her contract gets exterminated. That goes on her public image in the music industry, goodbye career before it even gets started.

Anyways Ludmilla heads back to the studio to attend to her classes and also share the good news to her one best friend, Nati. Since the ceremony of her mom the two partners came back together. Gives another diversion for Nati away from thinking about Maxi all the time.
