3 - It Was Her

"How could a human and a ghost interact?" She huffed. She stepped forward aand the moon perfectly shined her beauty.

I'm not the only one who was stunned. It was Clarice as well. She has been having this fangirl syndrome towards her.

But wait...it was her.

I shook my head and blinked many times. Did I just interacted with the Legendary Grim Reaper? Luna? A while ago?

Wait. I can't interact with grim reapers. Just how did I? How was I able to interact with a grim reaper?

"You can see her?" Clariced asked in shock.

I nodded, in shock as well.

"What are you two doing here?" She asked about to explode. "How is a human still here?"

"Senior!" Clarice shrieked, making Luna raised her eyebrows.

"Senior?"

"Oh? What should I call you?" Clarice is exploded with anxiety already.

"Don't worry. I'll be here." I whispered, trying to calm her down.

"But she's the Luna." She whispered back.

"You should call me Lady Soul Taker." She smiled, slowly walking towards us and we backed out step by step.

"Aren't you the Legendary Grim Reaper?" I gulped down, trying not to panick.

If this woman can touch me, I am doomed to hell I will be with Clarice.

"What?" She laughed, looking amused at me.

"Aren't you?"

"Am I?"

I tried to get her busy with my conversations just like I do with others.

"If you're that famous. You wouldn't go this low just to catch a frail ghost."

"That's my job." she said in a serious tone. "I did worse than that."

And then she suddenly laughed.

"Go." She smiled. Her smile shines along with the moonlight.

"What?"

I was startled by her word.

Did she just let us go?

"I said Go." She said, disappearing into thin air.

Why did my heart aches now when I saw her disappearing into smoke?

"Clarice-" Where is she?

"Clarice!" I yelled yet in a whispered manner.

"Guk Oppa." I heared Clarice voice whisper from behind the bushes near me.

"Clarice?"

"Is she gone?" I heard her whimpered.

"She is." I replied. "Come out now."

She came out of the bush, whimpering from fear.

"Don't cry." I said softly and walked towards her and hugged her.

"Did she go?"

I nodded. "Of course! Oppa is strong and there's nothing that fears me!"

I replied with a joke, making her laugh.

Luna's POV

He begged. He just begged even though he didn't say it but his eyes said to let them go and I did.

He's my weakness and he is the person I've been awaiting for in my whole life.

Flashback××

1391, year after their marriage.

"Are you off to see His Majesty?" I asked him. He nodded.

"His Majesty called an urgent meeting along with the officials."

I smiled, while fixing his robe.

"Why are you silent? Are you mad?" He asked.

"Am I?"

"I think so." He said. He grabbed my arms and wrapped it around me with my head on his chest.

"It's alright If I won't go."

He said that but I know that he's begging me to let go of him.

If he goes there, he will be sent to the borders by His Majesty.

"Go." I giggled.

"Really?" I nodded.

And that was the last time I saw him as my husband and lover.

End××

"Are you okay?" Bum asked me.

"Don't you think?" I asked sarcastically.

"Wasn't that your lover?"

Bum knows my lover. He was the same with me too but his lover went on her last journey of reincarnation already. In this life, a human can reincarnate as a human for 7 times. But a grim reaper can't. Forever they will be living their life as a grim reaper.

"He's living his life eh?" He laughed. "How come he still looks the same?"

"He does."

"He's turning 22 soon." He said. "Doesn't that mean?"

I nodded. I only have 6 months left until I can save him.

"Won't you give up already?"

"I won't."

"He keeps dying when he reaches 22. Even in his past lives. You are the one who suffers always."

"This is my life. If I had the chance to reincarnate, I will do as a man to punish myself from my sins."
