saturday mornings ✧

daniel seavey. ✧

it was a typical saturday morning. you spent the previous night at your boyfriend daniel's house. daniel had his arms tightly wrapped around you while he was asleep. you were somewhat sprawled out across the bed with him next to you. your eyes fluttered opened while you smiled, feeling the weight of your boyfriends arms around your waist. you stared up at the ceiling smiling to yourself before slipping out of your boyfriends grip to use the restroom. you did your business in the bathroom then walked out to your boyfriend still sound asleep. you grabbed your phone from the bedside table and sat down gently on the bed, not waking your boyfriend. you checked the time and date. you smiled to find the word 'saturday' right below the time, which read 7:34 am. you shut your phone off and placed it back on the bedside table. you turned your body to your sleeping boyfriend as his lips parted and you heard soft snores escaping his lips. you smiled at the sight of him as words left his mouth,
"babygirl, i know you're staring at me." he mumbled, from what you heard it sounded raspy.
"huh?" you giggled softly as you felt his arms snake around your waist, he pulled you close and you laid down next to him again, resting your head on his chest. he propped a pillow on his face to block out the ray of sun blaring on his face.
within what seemed to be seconds he was already back asleep. you looked up at your already sleeping boyfriend as snores escaped his lips. you placed a gentle kiss on his jaw as your head rested on his chest. your eyes began to get somewhat heavy as you began to fall asleep in his arms again.
your eyes fluttered opened, this time daniel was sitting up against the headboard with you pulled close to him, his arms wrapped around you and your feet tangled with each other.
"morning beautiful." daniel smiled at you.
your eyes wandered up to his ocean eyes as you stared into them, "morning handsome." you said, pressing your lips to his.
"what time is it?" you asked, pulling away from the kiss.
daniel checked the time on his phone, " ten - forty." he spoke, still looking at you.
"okay!" you smiled, grabbing the remote from the bedside table and handing it to him.
"it's saturday." you looked at him and smiled widely.
"i know." daniel took the remote, turning on the television and putting on netflix.
every saturday that daniel was with you when he wasn't on tour or busy, you two would have a sleep over the previous night and sleep in late on saturday, wake up and watch netflix all day. it was a tradition. it had been going on since before you and daniel were dating, it just became a bit more lovey - dovey once you two began dating.
"what movie will we start off with?" daniel asked, pulling you closer.
"beauty and the beast!" you yelled, excited.
"did you mean us?" he chuckled, placing a kiss on your head.
"yeah, you're beauty and i'm the beast." you spoke, getting up to use the restroom once again before the movie began.
"not quite!" daniel yelled back through the bathroom door, you walked out and he walked into the bathroom.
you were sprawled out on the bed, waiting for daniel to come out of the bathroom. once he came out of the bathroom and made his way to the bed you hopped up and waited for him to get comfy before you did.
daniel sat down, getting comfortable and leaning against the headboard. you waited for him to grab you and pull you close but he didn't. this made you move up close to him, grab his arm and wrap it around you. you rested your head on his chest once again, making yourself comfortable. daniel looked down at you, smiling and almost laughing at you.
"you're so cute." he began to blush.
"not as cute as you." you said back, placing a kiss on his cheek.
daniel found beauty and the beast and clicked on it, you both waited for it to load. as you waited for it to load you covered the two of you in a fuzzy blanket. you smiled at yourself as you covered you two.
the movie loaded and your full attention turned to the movie. you didn't notice that daniel began to play with your hair. you smiled at the movie as it continued on.
   even as an older child, you were still absolutely obsessed with disney princesses. you loved the magic and fantasy involved with it.
   you watched the movie in awe, daniel just looked back at the tv occasionally. he was looking at you for a majority of the movie.
   as the movie came to an end, daniel asked if you had wanted food. the movie ended and you both proceeded to get up, going downstairs to the kitchen and making your way to the fridge. daniel checked around in the fridge for pre - made food, which he found none of. he just found some eggs which he placed on the counter. you both decided that you'd have eggs.
   you grabbed a bowl from the cabinet as daniel grabbed a pan and put it on the stove, turning the stove on and putting some butter in the pan to melt. you grabbed two eggs for you, two for daniel. you scrambled them in a bowl and poured them into the pan once the butter was completely melted. you stood and watched over the eggs until they were finished. daniel began to make toast when the eggs were close to finished. once they were finally finished  daniel had already buttered the toast and put it on two plates, you divided the eggs into the two plates. you grabbed a fork for you two as you grabbed your plate and dragged it to the table, sitting down and eating with daniel. once you two were completely finished you ran back upstairs to daniel's bedroom, getting back into your previous positions, including the fuzzy blanket on top of you two.
   for the rest of saturday you two watched princess movies. daniel loved the way you loved the princesses so he just smiled crazily all day at you.
