1: The Mysterious boys

Lee Areum's Pov

"Yah Lee Areum!"

Someone called me as I felt something hard hit my head. I immediately opened my eyes as I sat up while rubbing my head, the area where got hitten, in pain. That's when I realize it was Mina who threw it at me as she sat on the table that is right in front of mine with her group of friends.

"Why don't you sleep at home instead of sleeping at school?" Mina asked me as she tilt her head in confusion.

"Ah! I forgot." Mina continue as she hit her head.

"Your rich mom is dead so now you are living in the street right?" Mina scoffed before letting out a laugh which her group of friends joined along too.

"I'm not living in the street. It's more like camping..." I defended myself as I fiddle around my fingers, feeling embarrassed.

"Whatever it is, it's still living on street." Mina corrected me.

"Here just take this and go buy yourself some snack okay?" Mina smile before tossing a coin at me.

I quickly catch the coin before it could hit my face which earned some laughter from Mina and her friends.

Aish... I am not a beggar! I mentally cursed in my mind.

"Yah! Soo Mina!" I shouted at her as I ruptly stood up and slam both of my hands on the table in anger which earned Mina and her friends' attention as well as my other classmates.

Mina and I glared at each other for a few moment before I decided to break it off by mastering a fake smile.

"Nows the days what can you buy with a one dollar coin? Next time please give me a five dollar note." I said with a smile as I raise the one dollar coin before walking away from my seat while I clench my teeth in anger.

"Do you really need to pretend like that?" Mina mumbled under her breath as she watched I leave my seat in disbelief.

"Ah!" I screamed as I tripped my own legs, causing myself to fall on the ground flat and dropping the coin from my hand while everyone immediately burst out into a laughter as they start to tease and gossip about me.

"Ouch..." I groaned in pain.

This is embarrassing....

I thought as I quickly lean my head on my arm, hopping that I can disappear from this awkward situation now.

I could hear couple of footsteps walking towards me before a voice spoke.

"Are you okay?"

I slowly raised my head up from my arm to see a light brown hair boy looking at me, with no expression on as he stick his hand out. Behind him were two boys looking at me, both with dark brown hair but one is shorter than the other.

I hesitantly reached for his hand, as he pulled me up before letting go of his hand and walk towards his seat without saying anything. Follow by the two other boys while I quickly dash out of class, feeling embarrassed.
